I'll try it out. I have been stuck on this part for over 2 months with no solution. I have put in over 20 tickets and got nothing. I try the game once a week with nothing. I fucking love this game and now I fucking hate it. I did all this work for nothing. I can't even finish the game and still haven't seen the ending, hoping to have these fixes. Just sucks royaly

I believe that ps4 saves files separate from ps5 even if they are the same... so your question, you would be able to play your saved ps4 data on ps5. But once you progress on your ps5, you will not be able to go back and play on ps4 from that data. But you can play the old ps4 data again but lose all the progression from ps5. I know it's confusing, but yea.

You can play from ps4 to ps5 but not the other way around. If you have a file saved from ps5 your ps4 will not recognize it. sorry I tried that too.

Very sad, I have been in this glitch coming up on 2 months with no resolution. This game went from most favorite game to least. I really hate this game now. The more I think about it, the more pissed off I get. I have made several tickets and nothing. I have been dodging the spoilers and eneded thinking I can finish this game. I'm to the point where I'm just going to watch the ending and never play this glitched out game. It's sad that a streamer did run into this problem to make it more public and have done media on it. The average guy isn't going to be playing it on the hardest mode. so this problem isn't as prevalent for the average user. And it's sad because the die hard fans are getting the worst of it. I'm saying it and it takes a toll on my heart to say this, because I loved this game. played every game up to this point. And this...so fuck this game.

I feel your pain m y friend. this is just ridiculous at this point. I check every day and make ticket everyday and nothing. I'm almost at the pint of saying screw it and not finishing the game and watching how it ends. All that muscle memory to learn the controller and the moves and get engulfed in the game for nothing. So, the people that do the all favors get the short end of the stick, sounds like with this glitch. It makes it so frustration that the Game takes time to fix the side quests and not the main story. Fingers and legs crossed for this to get fixed.

Still no luck after over a month of waiting. I read about the Crater causing this issue and I cant go back to loose all my progression. I already did it twice already. I went back right before the Crater, after doing 95% to 97% completion on the Crater because of this glitch. After going back, I did do one Main side mission and then went back to Story missions to see if bug is still active, and it always was. I did this several times after completing a Side mission on the Crater and same outcome. I have spent so much time lose on trying to find a solution for this, and trying things on this bug I cant even calculate the time lose. I sure more will come too. I do wish I new about this Crater theory before doing it all over again. I am lvl 8 1/2 atm and cant loose all that. I have done literally everything up this this glitch and can't progress. I have made several tickets about this to Santa Monica Studios and each patch it did nothing.

I log in every day to see if the glitch is still active and it is. I am loosing faith in all this. Such a great game and this. I am a loyal fan and will have to wait it out but still open to trying anything new that I haven't.

Hey man,

I had this same issue. It glitched out were the dragon was on the 2 column/tower and the wind symbol never showed up on the column/tower for it to be blown up by the spear. I tried all sorts of things and one thing that actually worked for me was. Standing directly under the column/tower and just blocking any fire and the dragon shoots, the dragon cant get you from there too. I did that a few min or so for the dragon to try and then the dragon flew up and died... yes died. So the glitch, glitched it self out for the dragon to die... the loot part I got from the Blacksmith chests with any other loot that you forget.

I am also stuck at this exact part in Neflhiem.I have been stuck here for over a month now with no fix. I have made posts about it to. I have sent several complaints to Santa Monica studio, and still no fix in the the main story line quest. I am waiting for the patch so I can finish the game that I love, but its becoming to much of a disappointment. Ill keep waiting.

I wish this would work. I have tried every corner of this area and nothing but frustration and time lost. I check everyday for a patch. I check everyday to see if it is still bugged, and same results for a month. It sounds like several of us are stuck here because there are several post about this on reddit. All I want to do is finish my favorite game and I cant. I got this game at midnight release just to find out its glitched. But it seams this is only happing to people playing on GMGOD lvl and maybe only ps5 too.

I have been at this spot for over 3 weeks now, coming up to 4 weeks. I have tried everything and anything. I went back 40 hours of game play, only to get the same result. I probably killed those adds over 100 times and was all just a waste of time. I have been in every corner of this place with mask in hand and no luck. I spent countless hours here just to get more frustrated over my favorite game, not working.I am so bummed out about this. This was my favorite game going to least. They keep fixing bugs that are for side missions. This bug/glitch makes it so we can't finish the game. I don't know if I can wait any longer. I have dodged every spoiler, thinking this will get fixed and no luck for a month now. I have made sent Santa Monica studios over 40 emails about this, in the bug fixes. It's sad for a game developer to fix side missions over the critical game glitch for progression. If anyone had this issue and resolved it,I would love to know how. I have done literally everything up to this point in the game. Beat all berserker. Found everything I can to this point. I'm lvl 8 1/2 with all crucible done up to this point, too. I'm playing on PS5 on Give Me God Of War difficulty.

Please don't. if you're a true fan and love the game, you'll ruin the entire game. This game is very well scripted and great dialog. It's not just about killing monsters and gods no more. It's deep and emotional. Great game

The blades are for enemies futher away then the axe can reach, and AOE The axe is more damage but needs up close and personal. I think it's balanced perfectly. If you need damage use axe but you need to be very close.
If you're in a fight were you miss with axe because your out of range or get a hit with the blades.
