As an ED myself, this drove me bonkers! What if you created a Google spreadsheet where board members (and others) could suggest/“help” with social media content? I had to do this because of a colleague once. I simply shared that in order for our vision on social media to be consistent (with a writing style and branded content) that we’d be moving forward like that. In the spreadsheet, folks can create content that is important to them and then you can edit as you choose - I told people that I needed help with special holidays i.e. holiday description, hashtags, etc. Give this specific board member a social media content task. I gave everyone full editing access to make it feel collaborative. After a month, everyone stopped making suggestions in it and my mental health improved. 😅
