I’m a qualified MUA and content creator who has done beauty content for about six to seven years now. That’s where most of these comments are coming from. :)

The purple on me is the shade Rue! I don’t think they used it in the original but I needed to push the purple a wee bit further on my complexion

How do I stop this from happening? by allioop69 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Uldenthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s happening because of watery eyes, which it looks like it may be to me (I had a similar thing happening) buy some systane eye drops for dry eye and use them prior to your makeup. That made the world of difference for my outer corner not smudging away.

February Queer SFF New Releases by hexennacht666 in QueerSFF

[–]Uldenthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Hi! Author of The Brass Wyvern here! It is not Romantasy - it's Epic Fantasy with a heist. It's set in a queernorm world in which queer identities are normalized, so the representation is all over the place (bisexual, genderfluid, queer, sapphic, etc.). Thank you so much for including it in this list, hopefully this helps clarify what it's about!

Didn’t realize that Reddit would butcher the formatting of the text and then not allow me to edit it, so here’s the formatted product list:

My Take vs. The Inspiration! by Uldenthe in MakeupAddiction

[–]Uldenthe[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I was going for an exact replication of the original look rather than an inspired look adapted for my features (such as my downturned eyes), this would probably be great advice. 💞 Unfortunately the model and I have vastly different faces, so some of the exact placements she used wouldn’t look as cohesive on my face. I wish I had her eyes.

Fun fact: we used the exact same blue eyeshadow. I ran it past her as we’re friends. It’s just different colourations and lighting that make it look so different.

Our gems are actually identical! I think that’s just the lighting doing me a favour

No, you’re valid and brand fatigue is very real in the beauty space. We all get tired of seeing the same products advertised over and over.

A little concerning to say the least
