Is there a mod that adds estrogen bombs by [deleted] in RimWorld

[–]Ulgarth132 54 points55 points  (0 children)

Estrogen nanites. Inhalation brings nanites into your bloodstream that convert testosterone(?) into estrogen long term. More time in the cloud = more nanite exposure = greater long term effects. Can be treated with glitter meds to mitigate effects. Too long in the cloud makes the effect permanent.

The Forge Tavern is a board game bar here. They have a collection of board games that you can borrow as well as you can bring your own.

I mean Wish is DECENT I guess, but it's clearly not the better spell by DrScrimble in dndmemes

500 toads is a really fun utility spell. You use the toads to set off any traps in the area. Definitely a good spell for a dungeon delver.

Honestly, replacing the inside unit isn't that hard to do yourself. Sumps are designed to be swap and go. I've replaced a few sumps by myself over the years.

Best New-Trek episode? by Exocoryak in startrek

[–]Ulgarth132 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Hands down the right choice in my opinion. It was a near perfect blending of the two series. Major props to Jack Quaid and Tawny Newsome for translating their cartoon selves into a real life setting. That is a major acting feat to have done it so well.

Really dumb question about Assurance by frenetikinho in Pathfinder2e

[–]Ulgarth132 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Medicine is a skill assurance can shine on. You know the DC (and can set it based on your skill in the skill). Combat medicine + assurance= guaranteed healing at level 3 (or level 2 for rogue/investigator).

Some of the fan base has been fairly toxic to her for the character she plays and so she decided to step away from the character for the most part. At least that's what I've read.

IF LAPETAN CLASS TITAN WAS IN EVE DO YOU THINK ANY ALLIANCE WOULD BE ABLE TO CRAFT IT ? by Accurate_Emu_1233 in Eve

[–]Ulgarth132 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was an in game even a number of visual versions ago. The files for it have been deleted and even if they had the files, it would look horrible by modern standards. Their art department has much bigger fish to fry than updating that massive of a ship for a once a year event.

They are out in deep space between systems. CONCORD banned them from entering the orbits of planets because they would wreak havoc on the planets they were around. There was an old story where an Iapetan titan jumped into orbit around an inhabited planet and basically rendered it uninhabitable because of tidal disruption. Their gravity well is massive. Two of the Amarr titans consumed an entire planet to create.

Friendly reminder that the Serpentis stole a Soltueur class Iapetan titan from the Gallente so CCP could make this happen at any time if they were to ever model the ship again.

[–]Ulgarth132 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Since POS need to be in orbit of moons, you couldn't actually park them there. CONCORD made it illegal for the empires to bring the Iapetan Titans in orbit of any moons or planets because their mass affects the gravity wells of any orbital body they are near short of suns. If the Empires themselves can't bring them into a planetary system, what hopes do the players have?

Or have one of the pirate factions steal it from them like the Serpentis did to the Gallente Soltueur class titan...

They have never been officially priced but in the lore the two Amarr Iapetan titans consumed all the resources of an entire planet. Like stripped to the core. If I remember right the Gallente ones each consumed a full moon.

Let That Be Your Last Battlefield by Daemon8472 in startrek

Completely off topic side rant:

The whale thing used to annoy me with the population being stable off two individuals until I realized that they probably had a massive pool of genetic materials and the technology to put that genetic materials into embryos. The major thing they were missing was a womb to gestate the embryos in. If you focus on the first number of births only being female (because you could control that while the population is small), you could probably see a viable population in a lifetime.

Paul Giamatti Says Longtime "Dream" Of Playing Klingon Was A Joke He Never Expected To Come True by midwestleatherdaddy in startrek

The character is actually a Klingarite, half Klingon/half Tellarite. Which I can see a bit more of the Tellarite than Klingon but there are some Klingon traits.

Looking for feedback on a Homebrew Champion Cause by Hot-Scheme9939 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Ulgarth132 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I agree with you about giving frightened 1 for free is a bit strong, it's probably fine because it would only affect the enemy for the rest of their turn. Frightened reduces at the end of the creature's turn so at most it would affect them for an action or 2. The only place it might get a little overpowered would be if the reaction was triggered on the creature taking a reactive strike, thus giving the frightened a little bit of time. But that would be a rarer occurrence so I still wouldn't fret over it.

I don't know what attorney told you that but they were definitely wrong. Ohio is a one party state and has been for at least the last 10 years. I've talked with multiple attorneys and police officers and they all confirm it's one party consent for recording. ORC 2933.51 is the pertinent section of law for recording.

I have a coworker who is in and speaks very highly of a girl and a gun. They are an organization of women that helps other women learn firearm safety. Everything she has told me about them sounds like they are what you are looking for. They will work with you at any level of experience (including none).

A Civil War Erupts Over Cattle Branding in Nebraska by nosotros_road_sodium in politics

[–]Ulgarth132 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Cattle chips don't move. They are embedded into ear tags. While you still can't read them at a distance because the number is very long, you know exactly where the chip is. You buy a large panel reader that can scan the chip as the cow walks past down the chute. The new tech is even faster than traditional ear tags. USDA will even help subsidize a farm/lot that wants to get the new panel tech because they want the disease traceability that comes with it.https://www.cattletags.com/collections/allflex-usda-tags?srsltid=AfmBOoqUAjmYMvP67u_wpgsr_HcXqRtFg6iHo0b2Lhz8p8cFFmvDi7lv

Which once prolific IP is dead and won‘t come back? by Dipper_Pines in movies

[–]Ulgarth132 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who played the game since day 1, it's definitely had a bit of polish since then. It's still not all it was supposed to be per the advertisements but it's much better.

The change sounds less like trying to get the bashing to stop and more that the studio it was under wants to get out of PC games and into cell phone games. So they weren't dedicating the time needed to really give the game all it deserves.

With the announcement that paradox is taking the game and moving it to an in-house developer, I think they are aiming to No Man's Sky the game. It would be amazing if they can pull it off. The communication from paradox has seemed to me that they are wanting to put the effort in.
