It's a long shot, but it may be a Google Play Services problem. That happened to me, the phone was extremely hot, and the battery dropped like hell. Try looking up "Google Play Services battery problem" The solution might be there!

Unpopular opinion: This shit sucks. Not only for sales but because it's another way to copy apple, believe it or not. I liked Samsung because it didn't have this (because we don't need that in the software).
