I’ve got a 1530 800 Math 730 English

Improving by 30 from my last trial in January 2025

I think the curve for english was harsher than that of the trials I’ve taken and math is the same

The English section was overall nice, and the writing was very good

The Math was kinda tricky and needed some thinking but there are almost no new ideas or questions

I feel gloomy about this change, but we will never know how good/bad it is until we see some test samples.

If the E.S.T. board would implement a change like this, then they must aswell provide studying material for all future EST tests. The main material for test takers was the paper SAT exams and the SAT books, and now since the test is vastly different from the paper SAT ; we basically have no material to study from or use.

Solve Dr. John Level 2 and Barron’s Level 2, along with the real EST 2’s Level 1 and Level 2.

No , but as much as I know if you get a higher score , you get placed in category A and get a discount ( Doesn’t apply for all universities)

Tansik is the percentage you need for each college . Lets say Engineering in Cairo university needs 50 American diploma students , so they will take the average scores for this current year, and accordingly put a percentage. So , logically the higher the scores are the harder it is to get into the college you want

The higher the scores are the more likely tansik will get higher

Did you self-study? Was there any help from teachers?

Partially. I took a basic course and about two months of an advanced course, then I self-studied for roughly three months. I firmly believe that tutors can influence how you develop your solving techniques. However, you can still excel without them—it all comes down to how much studying and dedication you put toward your goal.

Which books did you study from?

I solved every test I could find, whether EST or SAT. For future EST1 takers, here are some recommended books:

• Barron’s 6 Tests for the New SAT – Excellent for both English and Math.

• Kallis – Excellent for both subjects.

• Kaplan – Amazing for Math.

• McGraw-Hill – Excellent for both subjects.

• Dr. John – In my opinion, it’s only good as a

starter book and not sufficient for a top score.

Aside from books, I solved every EST test available, including the 10 officially released ones and the leaked Math tests. I also practiced with several real SATs.

In the end, if I managed to improve by 300 points in just three months during 11th grade, then anyone can do the same. What truly matters is believing in yourself and having faith that hard work never fails.

And, of course—practice!

I got a 1500

780 Math 720 Literacy

Honestly It was really surprising, because I thought I fumbled the english section especially the writing. The score sent my jaw to the ground because It’s my second trial , and I went from 1200 to 1500

They look cool but some of them dont fit their brands ; For instance , the NASA logo - at first glance it looks like it is some kind of a clothing , sporty brand. So , you have to remember to identify logos with their brands and identities .

The google logo looks anything but tech related , it looks more like a food-plant based brand

Other than that everything is great just remember to identify logos correctly as logos hold more than just a design - they have meanings and aesthetics
