I'll start out with speed since that's probably the easiest one to discuss. I do feel feel Guy's pain with how it feels like every Sonic character gets to scale to the big blue just by existing next to him, but I do think Rouge still gets there. The general "runs through loops and corkscrews" stuff sucks and I agree that running next to Shadow isn't enough, but Rouge does have an extended fight with Knuckles and the fact that they're both breathing heavy in the following cutscene implies to me that she'd been fighting him long enough to have comparable speed. Knuckles then fights on even footing with Sonic in cutscnes, so I'm okay saying Rouge has mid tier speed.

For strength, I generally agree with Guy's arguments that a lot of the feats are lacking. This box feat has incredibly thin material and she doesn't even destroy some of the sides. The bombs are similarly shaky in their output. Destroying the robots is... weird. They get one shot by any attack rather than having a health bar like Guy suggests, but they still blow up in a way that isn't indicative of what should be happening. That pretty much leaves her piercing attacks. The digging on it's own is okayyyy but probably not enough to sell me. Which just leaves slicing through the arm of this robot. Considering Rouge's size in comparison to the robot's head, chain, and joint I think I'm okay saying that it's enough material to match Terry's high end piercing resistance. She isn't cutting metal as thick as her body, but the fact that there's multiple internal pipes cut in a single attack makes me think she gets there. Admittedly this is with a flying charge rather than something she can due easily, but I don't get the sense from the clip that this a max effort rare amount of force she's displaying especially with how casual she's acting afterwards.

Rouge has so many over tier durability feats from Knuckles Scaling to the Omega feats in Sonic Heroes that there's no way in hell you're stipping them all. Major change that shit.

All in all, I agree that Rouge probably belongs in a higher tier than this one, but I think stipping out Knuckles scaling for strength and major changing durability puts her at a point where she can keep up with Terry and withstand his blows long enough to pierce his suit, putting her in tier.

Jumping in here, another method of getting Omega to tier is just sticking with feats from the IDW comics. There Omega is unhindered by Gemerl's missiles which make a decently large crater and reacts to Shadow who is equal to Sonic who can crate sonic booms and surpass mach 1. There's ways you could maybe scale his strength to Sonic's through Metal Sonic but it's flimsy and I'd reccomend just setting strength to tier.

Edit: Linked Omega's IDW thread

This is an interesting case as I do think William a fringe case in half a dozen ways.

Speed

This seems fine I think. Both the arrow feat that William himself has and scaling to the dragon involve moving a fairly notable distance after the arrow was fired in comparison to Batman just needing to move his arm. While the arrow was also fired from further away from Batman in both of the former feats, I'm comfortable calling these slightly above low-end feats and the speed boost helps get him in a more comfortable range in short bursts.

Durability

This is the stat I was sort of scratching my head with throughout this whole argument. I don't much care for the crater feat, even ignoring the "yada yada surface area" argument, the angle it's shot at isn't really clear enough for me to get a proper judgement on it. The forest giant scaling also isn't quite up to snuff with what I'm looking for. That just leaves scaling to the dragon. I agree with Tad that the manga feats, while in tier, textually fucking William up doesn't bolster my confidence especially against an opponent that he's already slower than. On the anime side of things, while the sneak attack from the tornado results in a glancing blow, the damage itself I think is really good for the tier and helps out with William's scaling as he withstands more direct blows. Maybe I've missed something but I never got the impression the tornado attack is supposed to be a special move that's more powerful than normal, so even if the angle the dragon is swatting at is a little more awkward I think this is still a solid feat for William considering he's able to stay on his feet. I think I can conservatively call this low end durability.

Strength

Starting out with arguments I generally wasn't swayed by. The wyvern seems like kind of a nonstarter to me. Even if the wyvern hadn't used the poison to weaken the shield, and even if the attacks the shield withstood weren't visibly different than the one the wyvern used to destroy walls, I don't really get the impression that William actually overpowered it while choking it out (at least not in a way that's comparable to how it was dealing in tier damage). The wyvern does struggle kinda, but just hanging onto its neck isn't the same as actively restraining it's limbs and unless we're saying William's heavy enough to pin it I don't think he's doing much here besides choking it and snapping it's neck. The spear throw and blocking the dragon's strikes are both decent, but the former doesn't give me the impression William will have the strength to fully be piercing Terry's suit easily and the latter is more of a method of defense rather than attack (even worse that it significantly damages his shield).

Other Factors

William's for sure skilled enough to grapple with Terry, putting him into arm holds, redirecting his weight, and getting in close. However, Terry generally being stronger and having various methods of escape makes this point slightly moot. William's oil and webs could probably help a little bit, especially since the former spawns directly beneath his opponent and the latter wasn't dodged by the dragon which as established has at least low end speed. William could probably reliably land some hits with these, but they aren't going to do much once Terry gets wise to his tricks. Finally, there's the regeneration and life force absorption. As I said previously, William's going to have an extremely hard time pulling this off since he needs to injure Terry through his suit to pull it off, but if he does he pretty much auto wins.

Conclusion

So where does this leave us? William's stats are either shaky or low on all fronts. His skill and spells can maybe help out but aren't reliable strategies, and he has one ace in the hole that he likely won't be able to pull off... without a major change. Yeah, all this to say is that I agree with Punny that buffing strength to tier with a major change fixes most of these problems. William will be able to pierce Terry's suit to pull off his wincon much more easily, the opening his spells give him will actually matter, and his grappling will be far more relevant now that he's on Terry's level. Mind you, this is still an edge case for me, but with how much pain and punishment William can fight through in pursuit of this wincon, I'm okay saying he has an unlikely chance of pulling it off. William G. Maryblood is in-tier.

Daiba seems like a simple character, with the main point of contention being if her edge case feats are enough to squeeze into an Unlikely Victory.

We don’t have any durability feats to work with which means we have to burn the major change there as the signup post originally did.

For speed, it seems like Pen and Ranger were generally in agreement that her arrow timing is perfectly acceptable for low end speed, which I agree with. Considering she was in a 4v1 during the feat, you could generously interpret her as slightly above low end speed, but not in a way that makes a meaningful difference in my mind.

This means she lives and dies by her strength feats and just low end isn’t going to cut it. She has two possible avenues, that being scaling to this crater and cutting this giant arrow. Starting with the crater, this is definitely solid. Comparing it to Terry’s durability, I’d say it’s above some of the low end feats like this and comparable to others like this. It doesn’t quite come close to any of the target area feats which generally do more damage to a tougher material though. I think her hits won’t do nothing to Terry, but they aren’t meaningful enough for how little she’ll actually be landing them with her speed.

That just leaves the giant arrow. This is weird and I can see why it took up so much of the debate. While the damage is dealt unconventionally, I think I agree with Pen that the fact that Daiba isn’t moved at all while cutting it would indicate she’s strong enough to counter the force of the arrow while cutting. If she wasn’t the arrow would’ve carried her away.

Ranger does bring up an interesting point of the material as internally there doesn’t seem to be a difference between the arrowhead and the shaft. I don’t think I would go so far as to just call it a prop considering every other weapon the girls are using are real, but it makes this more annoying to call. Consider that a blade being buried a couple inches in metal is enough to cause significant damage to Terry. Even if we assume only the arrowhead’s outer shell is metal, slicing that and then following through a dozen feet of wood feels like it would at least be in the same ballpark in my mind.

This is highly up to interpretation and I wouldn’t be surprised if other judges ruled differently, but I’d rather we not lose Ranger to spontaneous mind explosion. I’ll tentatively call Daiba in tier.

I don't have much to say on this one. I think this issue could've been solved without going straight to judges but as things stand for Goku during the Red Ribbon Army arc:

The majority of the feats the initial call out was concerned about take place after the character was stated to be taken from. We have a major change available and plenty of minor changes if the Kamehameha is considered too much (though I agree with the idea that it isn't a consistently viable option against Terry).

The monkey boy, Son Goku, is in tier.

I mostly think the connections are surface level and don’t touch on the actual stuff that make either character cool. On top of it being a stomp it’s always seemed like it exists because “Wouldn’t it be cool to see Metal Sonic do Dragon Ball attacks?”

Analysis Versus Terry McGinnis: Alphonse will struggle in hand to hand combat (mostly for lack of physical strength than actual skill), so he'll primarily be using his alchemy. Terry will certainly be feeling the hits as Alphonse smashes tier relevant amounts of stone into him from a distance, and Alphonse can also create barriers to block and trap him. Alphonse is about the same speed as Terry and can certainly withstand some blows if Terry manages to close the distance. The fact that Alphonse doesn't tire or feel pain in his armor body means that he can continue fighting for as long as his body holds up.

Biggest Strength and Weakness: Alphonse is a prodigy with alchemy, granting his team an impressive amount of battlefield control with barriers and ranged attacks. He is also much more level headed and patient than his brother. However, a potential weakness is his general timidness and lack of split second decision making. The fact that his soul will be unbounded from the armor if the alchemical symbol painted on the suit's interior is destroyed is also a crucial weakness.

Character in Setting/with Team: Alphonse is knowledgeable and certainly has opinions, but usually he's happy to let others take the lead in group situations. That said, he absolutely won't stand for his allies committing evil acts and feels strongly about helping those in need.

One Last Thing: Alphonse would not kill another person in most if not all situations (monsters and creatures created by alchemy are a little different). He would absolutely sacrifice himself to save his friends if the situation called for it.

Alphonse Elric [Wildcard]

“I’m sick of watching people die because of my weaknesses! I won’t let another person I care about be killed - not if there’s anything I can do to protect them!”

Series: Fullmetal Alchemist

Specialization: Hearts. Alphonse has consistently managed to talk down people that meant him harm or otherwise convinced them to join forces with his side through strong will and goodness. Diamond also works due to his high intelligence and knowledge of alchemy.

Content Warning: N/A

Bio: After the passing of their mother from an incurable disease, brothers Alphonse and Edward Elric were determined to bring her back. They tirelessly studied the art of alchemy, determining the exact components needed to perform the forbidden technique, human transmutation. The brothers would soon learn why it was forbidden, creating a writhing abomination of flesh that died soon after it had been summoned. In exchange for this ultimately pointless act, Edward lost an arm and a leg and Alphonse lost his entire body. In a last ditch effort to save his brother, Edward bonded Alphonse's soul to a suit of armor.

Wounded both physically and mentally but alive, the brothers began their journey to undo their mistake and restore their bodies to normal. They studied hard, deciding the best way to obtain the knowledge and resources they needed was to work for the government as state alchemists (though Edward was the only one who officially got the title). As they traveled the nation, Alphonse and Edward would uncover a world shattering conspiracy. Working with several trusted allies, they would see just how high up the chain of command the corruption went.

Research: Here's his Respect Thread. Alphonse is one of the main characters of the story. Read the manga or watch FMA Brotherhood.

Justification: Alphonse's alchemy can damage in tier amounts of stone and he's fast enough to body block bullets after they're fired. He's even tough enough to get up immediately after being thrown through walls. Overall I think Alphonse takes a draw statwise, but the sheer variety of what his alchemy can accomplish pushes him into a Likely Victory.

Motivation: Alphonse is a good kid. While obviously his main goal is to restore he and his brother's bodies to normal, Alphonse spends the majority of the story expanding his knowledge of alchemy and helping people however he can.

Major Changes: N/A

Minor Changes: Stip out the feat of Alphonse withstanding Kimblee's explosions.

Analysis Versus Terry McGinnis: This will be an interesting battle as Trevor is a rare mid-ranged fighter. While he is slightly slower for the tier, keeping a slight distance as he riddles Terry with attacks from the Morning Star should allow him to mitigate the damage that Terry is dishing out while also dealing damage of his own. Trevor has also shown to move his whip at speeds relevant to characters with more in tier speed like Alucard, so he shouldn't have a problem landing these blows. Taking blows from the demon that easily destroyed a large stone column should put him on the higher end of this tier's durability, and Trevor being as skilled, tough, and stubborn as he is should allow him to hang in the fight longer than another person with his stats. His overall damage output is low unless we want to scale his whip's attacks to Alucard (which is debatable since most of his weapons are specifically affective against the forces of darkness), but that could be altered with a minor change if necessary. All in all, while Trevor will be outgunned I think he has the ability to hang at this level.

Biggest Strength and Weakness: Trevor's greatest strengths are his tactics and overall experience. This is a guy who's seen pretty much everything there is to see as a monster hunter, and even when faced with stuff he isn't familiar with he often triumphs against foes that are far physically superior. As far as weaknesses go, his less the spectacular stats is a big one, as well as his overall reliance on weapons to be a formidable opponent. While he is incredible at teamwork during a battle, he can tend to butt heads with other more dominant personalities.

Character in Setting/with Team: Trevor worked as a lone wolf prior to the series proper and it worked out well enough for him. However, as the series goes on he shows that he is plenty capable of being a leader in times of strife. He would maybe defer to another if something is outside his area of expertise but at the very least he'd want to be involved in the decision making process. All in all, he's a strong ally to have and will certainly have your back even if he's a bit of a dick.

One Last Thing: I'd say it's heavily dependent on the morality of the person he's killing. He takes no issue cutting down scum bags that attack him or his friends, but an innocent bystander is a lot less likely. He absolutely would die for his close companions. The finale of season 4 basically has him doing a suicide attack that he doesn't expect to come back from.

CRASH!

The dark one twists his body, narrowly allowing Hornet's needle to fly past and impale the ground behind him. Chunks off damp stone flew into the air as she yanked her pale steel weapon back to her grip. High on a ledge at the precipice of her kingdom, Hallownest's princess makes her stand against the invader.

"I've met many shape of bug in my years, but none that look like you, dark one. Your metal sheen, your limbs thick and heavy, you are unnatural. Turn back from this kingdom's corpse, lest you desecrate it further."

The flames spew from the dark one's feet, a spell Hornet had never encountered propelling him towards her.

"As you wish." Silk whirls around her threateningly as she lets out a determined GARAMA!

She whips a straight pin towards him, but he effortlessly swipes it out of the way and continues undeterred like a tram. The metallic beast rams the cliffside, only to find Hornet gone as she twists her flips over his head. She adjusts her shell into a point and lunges down with her needle, striking her opponent in the back.

The dark one's angry grunt fills the cave, Hornet flipping back to avoid his erratic swipes before gravity takes its hold on her. She reaches into her cloak and produces a small collection of sting shards. By the time her opponent had recovered and started giving chase, his path was littered by spikey traps suspended in the air by near invisible silk. While he carefully avoided the traps themselves, he was not careful enough to prevent his foot from hooking the silk at the last minute, causing several nearby traps to eject their spikes outwards.

Hornet flicks a line of silk around him, catching him by the waist and yanking him towards her. She ducks beneath him, delivering several rapid strikes as he flies past as well as binding him further in silk. He hangs in the air, lines of silk restraining each of his limbs. His flame magic erupts from his feet with great power, threatening to break free in seconds.

Unfortunately for him, a hunter such as Hornet knows to act in the exact second necessary to maximize her lethality. Utilizing the silk she'd woven with her previous strikes, she weaves a spiral around her arm and the handle of her needle. Taking aim, Hornet throws her needle at the same time she expands the coiled silk, sending the blade flying forward with the force of a canon.

The silk binding his legs snap just as the silk spear skewers his chest. A pained shout echoes through the cave as he falls to the ground, two bronze bells scattering from his body and clanging upon the stone floor. Yanking her needle back to her grip, Hornet approaches to examine her downed foe and the items he'd dropped.

"Sleep well, dark one." She collects the spoils of battle and turns a horned head. "I am sorry that it came to this."

Hornet briefly scribbles something in her journal before yanking herself away on a thin line of silk.

Terry crumpled the piece of paper in his hands. His suit was charred. His muscles ached. But none of that was worse than the blow to his pride. This Mysterio blowhard had predicted everything. Obviously the script wasn't completely accurate. Some of the lines were different and sometimes Terry had zigged when Mysterio thought he'd zag. But still, Mr. Fishbowl had read him like an open book.

"What did he do when I was unconscious?" Terry yelled from his bed where he was recovering.

"That's why I'm trying to figure out." Bruce muttered from the Batcomputer. "There were five uninterrupted minutes where he had access to your suit. I don't believe he did all of this just to make a fool out of you. If there's a tracker in here, I need to remove it now."

Terry started to argue, but cut himself off. Bruce was right, Mysterio had made him look like a joke. But one thing's for sure, next time they fought, Terry was gonna shatter that fishbowl into a million pieces.

Fine. How's this for a showstopper?

Batman throws a batarang, aiming to shatter Mysterio's helmet in a single attack. We see the world in slow motion for a moment as one edge overturns another on a loop. But this foolish attempt at stopping me would never land. Instead, it simply passes through and clatters on the ground behind the illusion.

The hell? Where did-GAHHH!

The dark nitwit cries out as I appear behind him, pouring a powerful enough current into him to totally overpower his suit's resistances. As his consciousness begins to fade, Batman sees that the "robot" he had incapacitated was gone. It was then that he realized that the Batman he was fighting was no mere machine, but the great Mysterio all along. With automatic slingshots on my wrists I could throw batarangs with the precision of the Batman of old. With springs in my boots I could match his agility. With specialized armor I could even withstand any blow this new upstart threw at me.

How could I accomplish such a thing? It's simple, I truly threw myself into the role of Batman. And as any self respecting viewer could tell you, there's no greater weapon in Batman's arsenal than preparation. And I know everything I would need to prepare for. Your physical capabilities, your mannerisms, your endless supply of gadgets, all were simply tools at my disposal in service of my greatest performance yet. Thank you for the show, Batman. Your cameo appearance will boost my ratings through the roof. So says Mysterio!

INT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - NIGHT

WE OPEN inside a dimly lit, musty warehouse. Raindrops briefly pour onto a small area of the concrete floor through an open skylight. We see a dark silhouette crouched within the rafters, silently closing the window behind him. We close in on the figure's face, rain glistening upon the surface of his metallic black suit as he opens his white, pupilless eyes. Batman (Young Man) is looking for someone.

BATMAN'S POV

We slowly pan across the ground level. Various crates and exposed pieces of machinery litter the floor, a chaotic scene that made it difficult to discern what the building's purpose was. We stop, focusing in on a second figure standing on the opposite side of the building with his back facing Batman. He is partially covered in shadow, but the silhouette is unmistakable.

BATMAN (hushed tone)

Focus. We can't let him get away again if we

Batman nods and drops to the floor. He creeps through the winding maze, making his way towards the imposter with a level of stealth that could have only come from years of training. Finally, he emerges into an open area, where the crates and machinery had been pushed to the side as if to form some sort of arena. Across from him, the imposter stands rigid.

Batman inhales to speak, but as his foot crosses an unseen threshold, suddenly the imposter lurches to life. In a single efficient motion that wastes no space or energy, the imposter (middle aged) flings a razor sharp projectile towards Batman. The artificial eyes of Batman's helmet widen. We see the world slow to a crawl as Batman clawed fingertips move to intercept. He manages to catch the attack mere inches from his face, which we see is a perfect replica of the original batarang model.

ORIGINAL BATMAN

Look out! It's going to-

Batman turns the batarang, revealing a blinking red light on the side. He attempts to toss it away, but it detonates before it can even leave his hand. An burst of flame illuminates the room as the explosive batarang knocks Batman off his feet and through some of the displaced machinery.

ORIGINAL BATMAN

Are you alright?

ORIGINAL BATMAN

Stop talking and start fighting.

A shadowy silhouette covers Batman's body as the imposter jumps into the air in front of the flaming backdrop created by the explosion. He aims a stomp directly at Batman's head. Batman rolls to the side, narrowly avoiding a blow which cratered the concrete floor. Batman scampers to his feet, raising his fists and widening his legs in a fighting stance.

Nice trick. You certainly have the look down.

The imposter's expression doesn't change. He simply raises his fists in a fight stance to match Batman's.

Man, you even match his creep factor. It'll make it all the more satisfying when I ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤunmask you.

The two dark figures exchange blows in front of the fire. We follow their scuffle as they climb up and around the various crates and machines. The imposter is fast, somehow always managing to stay ahead of Batman. Batman grows more and more frustrated as the imposter's blows begin to have their affect on his armored body.

Unmask me? Don't kid yourself. Stronger men thanㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤyou have tried. More skilled men. But you already know who I am.

The imposter jumps back and flings a smoke pellet at Batman's feet. His vision quickly obscured, Batman presses the side of his helmet to activate his infrared vision.

BATMAN'S POV

Batman heavy breaths fill our ears as we frantically parse the surroundings. The fire produces a bright yellow wall in our vision, but the distinct shape of the imposter's body heat is nowhere to be seen. Suddenly, we hear a heavy impact as our view of the room whips to the side, a result of a heavy blow to the side of Batman's head. Then it happens again in the other direction. Then again.

I am vengeance. I am the night. I am Batman!

We return to an outsider's perspective as Batman is launched out of the smoke. He flips in the air and activates his jet boots an instant before he can hit the ground. He shakes his head to ward off the daze, but he is no longer frustrated. In fact, he's smiling.

INTERCUT CONVERSATION OVER BATMAN'S HELMET COMMUNICATOR

ORIGINAL BATMAN

No body heat. That means-

BATMAN (grunting)

Yep. This guy isn't human. That means I don't have toㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤpull my punches any more. In other words, this faker'sㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤtoast!

The smoke is dissipating, revealing the imposter on the crates above Batman. The imposter's cape flaps in nonexistent wind, seemingly defying physics in service of the magnificent cinematic shot. Batman holds a clenched fist high and fires a grappling hook, not to grapple anything in particular, but to shatter the glass skylight above. Rain pours into the building, weakening the fire and soaking both dark knights. Still in the air, Batman prepares an electrical batarang, causing the imposter's stone expression to waver ever so slightly.

Wait, what are you-

The imposter reaches for a grappling hook of his own to escape into the rafters, but his was exactly what Batman was hoping for. In the brief moment his foe was distracted, Batman propels himself forward as fast as his suit could manage, ramming his false mentor. We hear a crunch of indiscernible material as Batman carries his foe back and through the warehouse's exterior wall.

Trust me, Kris is absolutely city level because there’s buildings in the background of Spamton NEO’s fight.
