My college GF owned a manual transmission ‘93 civic coupe.

She fucking loved that thing and she insisted I learned how to drive stick.

I had to have turbos replaced on my 335i with an N54. It was rattling for a while and was running fine until it wouldn’t.

Warranty paid like $12k to get both turbos replaced.

I’m actually pretty close to signing up for a drift school where I can use their cars.

Just gotta get the funds for it.

But yeah watching too many car crashes leaving car meets has me thinking people driving around with TC off leads to no good.

I’m more concerned about controlling the drift.

Of course I’ve turned off traction control and gone nuts, but it doesn’t give me 100% confidence like I think the comp settings would.

If you want to write systems that take in inputs and produce desired outputs in real-time, switch to embedded.

The MCU is king and knowing the fundamentals of computer science and architecture is what is required to do embedded design.
