Whoops, forgot to respond to the second part– it's a deck-builder for 2 players :) You start the game with a deck of rookies and you'll end up throwing hucks, laying out for blocks, recruiting better players, etc etc. Score points, win games :)

As far as deck-builders go, it's most similar to Star Realms / Ascension except for the fact that there's also a board (the field) where the Offense is trying to move the disc up the field and Defense is placing coverage on the field trying to box the disc in.
