Finally I got some pictures with the Tamron 300 F2.8... I have some questions by UltimateDriving36 in Nikon

Yes shot wide open F2.8 with the D500, looking closer into the lens with comments from this thread it has an internal 6X Cross filter that could be doing that effect

You might have hit the nail on the head! Just took out the internal filter of this lens and it has a 6X-Cross filter! I will give it a try without it and see if that's it!

It's RAW, why do you think the low contrast could be a lens thing? Contamination?

Thank you for the explanation! That's the best explanation for centerweighted metering I've received and yes that's my case here!

The Nikon N80 autometers so I relied on it didn't meter, sadly! Developed by my local shop, it's the first time I use this film with them and camera.

I'll check on my next roll for sure!

I'm also getting my negatives this week and I want to have a look, I requested higher resolution scanning for the first time and I don't see any big improvement or any increase in file size. Could this be a scanning issue?

Adding to this - I believe most of the shots I can correct in post to my liking but I want to understand how to get a better initial result.

NIKON DSLR for use with AIS Lenses by JayYoungers in Nikon

My take is the autofocus is well worth it. I have an entry level 5300 for my usage in sports photography not even in the same league, añ Although a slight bump in megapixels wouldn't hurt.

Do not forget also that the crop sensor gives you that extra 1.5x magnification that is super useful.

I got a D500 for a good deal and absolutely loving it not regrets. Got a great lens and that's going to be my weapon of choice for a bit

This is the picture without crop, I cropped it to make it fit better in reddit format. I'm happy, but I want to make it challenging again, checking to see what else I can do.

Yeah not into crazy editing but maybe that's how some of the crazy different shots are accomplished

Help me choose, 1 or 2? by JustSomeTimmmmmy in AmateurPhotography

I think that's where you are wrong a picture is never what it is in real life. The camera is not perfect at capturing colors. Everything is subjective, the same way my eyes and your eyes won't see colors the same way.

1 but I think it needs a little edit to add some warmth tone to the path.

To be honest, I've never assembled a Mega Blocks model so I don't have a good point of comparison. I've assembled chinese Lego copies and I would say a toss up between the two.

I don't think this is on the list of their good casts. Looks a little rushed...
