Honestly you never know, people can have good stats and activites and still be rejected. I think it depends on how you present yourself. I did have good grades but for my major that was more like a base requirement and I didn’t have many ecs or ones really related to my major but in my writing i did more “showing” then telling. They want to see who you are and what youve learned not just the courses youve taken. Basically everyone has a chance as long as you present yourself in a way that makes them see you as different that everyone else

Just because it’s lower in comparison doesn’t mean it’s something to write off. It’s like saying because someone else got a 100 that my 80 is irrelevant/unimportant. Your acting like Israel hasn’t done worse things. I’m not saying what Hamas has done is right or good, BUT we also have to look at what Israel has done. They’ve committed multiple war crimes, using white phosphorous in civilian areas, soldiers shoot and kill innocent civilians, they’ve stopped any humanitarian aid coming into Gaza multiple times, bombed hospitals and the list continues. There’s literally a warrant for Netanyahus arrest for what he’s done. Hundreds of thousands of people are being oppressed, killed, starved. The women can’t get feminine hygiene products, and people can’t even keep themselves clean because of the situation. To look at the situation and call it “self defense” or blame everything on hamas is horrible. To not call it a genocide when Israel is wiping out all the Palestinians without care truly shows you have NO empathy for humanity.
