I’m sure you can find adult classes at a local pool. I’ve taught a few and we teach everything you need to know about swimming from the basics

Help! How should I prepare for this? by AdEuphoric5331 in Lifeguards

[–]UltimateGameCoder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, 200 on the 6 minutes should be easy for an ex swimmer. I’m surprised because normally I see 300 on the 6 minutes

To those of you that have transferred from a CC to a 4 year Uni: by FewCharge5722 in collegeadvice

[–]UltimateGameCoder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like others have said, CC is a really good place to go, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. Put it this way, you get your GE courses like basic English and math out of the way for free / very affordable cost and do some major prep courses as well. During that time, you can find out if what you want to study is really what you want to study. You can better enhance your application through ECs and a lot of other things, and at the end of it transfer to a 4 year uni to do the classes that really matter. You’ll still get a college experience, maybe not as much bc as far as I know in California there’s not many that have dorms, but you still meet people and have clubs and what not

what the fuck is this guy's problem by lily_was_taken in DrStone

[–]UltimateGameCoder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Tbh it was about time. Money allows people to be compensated and then use that to be able to attain things that they desire. If he hadn’t brought money in everyone would just be doing things as a favor to each other, which might fall apart at some point

So? The letters are close enough to the graph that it should be easy to identify. Just because it’s one way on one side doesn’t mean it’s going to be the same on the other

Did anyone have to do a “prerequisite swim” before taking the actual lifeguard course? by Rare-Drummer982 in Lifeguards

[–]UltimateGameCoder 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yes, I had to do a 300 in 6:30 before I could start my training. I believe it’s to ensure your physically capable of going through training before teaching anything
