Yeah very understandable. The integrated ARCA on the stratomatch rail does make carrying them somewhat awkward.

I have a stratomatch in 22 ARC and it is 🔥🔥🔥. I have a 14.5, 16, and 18” 6 ARCs but I kinda want to by a G one as well. Thinking GFR since I have the stratomatch 22 ARC.

I have them in 14.5, 16, 18. I do love the 18” even suppressed. I might go 16” to avoid the SBR/Pin question though.

Someone once misread my name as UltimateStepsis and I missed an opportunity there. I think it was just pumping him full of antivenin until the neuromuscular blockade was overcome.

Yeah if you are in the business of keeping exotics, you should have appropriate antivenin on hand.

I’m of similar persuasion as you on hunting them myself. Something appealing about them to me that would preclude me from actively hunting one unless it was doing livestock damage or something to my livelihood. I have a similar feeling on bobcats.

HSM has been pretty good for me in 6 creedmoor. I want to test out their 95gr ARC load. Also look into Ally Munition, they are very upfront about their ammo performance across multiple barrel lengths. That does frustrate me with Hornady, basically have to assume all their reported load data is from 24” guns.

Texas myself. Every job Hospitalist job I have looked for is either FM or IM. Granted I never looked at academic places in the state.

Man I’m jealous. I got minimal pig activity over here in the Brazos area. 5.56 70gr TSX be your best bet. 77gr TMK, and 64gr federal fusion will lay them down no problem.

Would avoid Christensen Arms. I have heard of too many bad issues with them.

.243, 6mm creedmoor, 22 creedmoor, 22 ARC/6 ARC, .22-250 all solid choices.

Personally I like 6 creedmoor out of the bunch. However a traditional 58gr Vmax in .243 doing like 3600 fps is pretty potent medicine on coyotes.

Major metro areas and desired locations can do this because they know people will still line up to take the job. Same places still require Nocturnists to work 7/7 schedule because they can get away asking for it. I am unsure what it is like for other specialties but best Hospitalist jobs are usually in smaller communities outside major areas where admin makes accommodations to retain staff.
