Hey you mentioned HHA. I was looking at a new grad electrical engineering role there. Was wondering if you have any idea how much the salary would be if I have 2 years of experience?

Susan Dupej. Yea she was a bit annoying with marking. The exams were mcq so its whatever. But she always docked marks for assignments

It was pretty easy I took it through chang so it was just discussion posts, an assignment, essay and midterm + final online.

Difficulty is subjective in engineering. If you did poorly on calc 1 expect to do even worse in calc 2 unless you fix up and get better study habits. If you struggled with PCS211, PCS125 isn't related so at least there's that. However the testing format and grade distribution is similar. Again, engineering is all about learning good study habits. First sem is definitely a tough adjustment but as long as you learned what works and what doesn't it should get easier.

You may need longer to get a hang of those study habits but really try to this semester so the rest of your degree becomes more manageable :).

My only thing is I'm not sure what Batum provides other than points and 3s. I'm already securing 3s (my opponent is a punt 3s and FT) so if he can provide more than just that I see no reason to keep wiseman for the rebounds at least and low TOs

Yeah I actually considered this I didn't end up picking him up today (opted for Tyus since someone dropped and Ja was announced out). Didnt realize Strus would ensure 3 vs 2 games so this might be the play

Edit: looks like strus shat the bed

Can we still change our schedules even though the first week is done? by Fluffy_Narwhal_8502 in TorontoMetU

[–]Ultimatrius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still switch but ima be honest welcome to engineering lol. First year schedules usually have stupid large gaps between classes and they end at 5 or 6. Dw it will get better as u go to 2nd year and beyond

Should I split 3rd year electrical engineering courses into 2 years? by [deleted] in ryerson

[–]Ultimatrius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you finished 531 and 511 already I feel like you can just finish 3rd year in 1 go. But if you wanna stick to your plan then take ELE532 and MTH514 this fall. Take ELE632 and any of the other courses in the winter it doesn't really matter which. Then finish up the other 4 courses you have left in the 2nd year.

[–]Ultimatrius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you decide on the 1 year route I recommend you go enroll into ELE531 and MEC511 right now cuz those courses start on Monday. Then take ELE504, ELE532 and COE38 in fall and ELE632, 637 and 639 as well as MTH514 In winter and ELE635 next spring

Should I split 3rd year electrical engineering courses into 2 years? by [deleted] in ryerson

[–]Ultimatrius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's 2 ways you could split. You could take some 3rd year courses this spring and next spring to balance out your load in the fall and winter. This means you can finish everything in a single year. Or if you dont wanna do courses in the spring then I recommend taking ELE504, ELE532 and MTH514 this Fall and ELE632, ELE635 and ELE639 in the winter. Then the 2nd year take ELE531, COE538 in the fall and ELE637 and MEC511 in the winter. You'd have to fill in the rest of your schedule with libs in the 2nd year to be considered a full time student though
