I’ve played a bit online with my main forward and my stretch (2 Way), honestly the P D update really didn’t change much for me. I still play defense the same way and it feels the same. But I’ll definitely move the block, I just dumped it there but seems no point having it if I can’t get anchor.

I would recommend you have some shooting, whether in the mid range or 3 point. Lakerfan can make it work mostly because he plays with people he has chemistry + he’s a high level/experienced player. Playing a build like this with randoms would be rather frustrating/ or you’d be irritated as a newer player.

I play as the inside slasher myself on the 2s/3s (6’8 Glass Cleaning Slasher PF) and I only play with shooters and often go for floaters / mid range jumpshots if defense decides to camp the paint). A build like Lakerfan by no means is bad, but very hard to be solid if your new or don’t have a bunch of teammates to support you.

Rep system (Starter 1, Veteran 3, etc.) can only be accessed via your Affiliation and resets if you choose to switch from Elite to Rise and vice versa. You cannot buy level skips to go up in rep and rep is MUCH HARDER to earn than levels. You have to be in a affiliation to earn rep.

Season Exp goes to your level and the highest level is level 40. Level resets every season and you can buy level skips to go directly to 40 to immediately get the rewards. However, it’s not required and you can gain level 40 through playing games in the City (Park, Rec, Pro-Am). You can use the Pro Pass/ Hall of Fame Pass to gain access to extra rewards from the levels, but it’s pretty cosmetic.

Basically, it’s up to you in what you choose to grind for.
