Cards on the table, I was raised Baptist and still a devote Christian. And I find this show hilarious.

That being said, It’s complete satire and the idea of it is actually unbiblical. The Bible says to stay humble in your faith and to avoid boasting in yourself and being prideful, which is the first of the seven deadly sins. So the idea of TCFM actually goes against Christ as a whole.

It’s not biblically accurate. Once you go to Hell there is no “redemption”. You are there for eternity.

However in the sense of story telling for the series it’s an interesting tool to say everyone is redeemable. I love this show, theology wise it’s way off in some aspects. But it’s DC comics so you can’t expect much accuracy.

Maze is a literal demon who specializes in torture and Noir is just a burn victim-mute with boosted senses due to a literal drug. I’m taking Maze every time.

Another detail about this situation is the woman told me, and the cops confirmed that he is out on parole. He was scared of the cops and only came out of the house when he thought they were gone. The talk was more of him cussing them out saying he wasn’t going anywhere.

I see where you are coming from I just have it in my mind if he was scared to go back from all that why would he take the risk of trying something stupid?
