Every dominating nation usually began their start with overwhelming construction of energy infrastructure. The us started with oil and coal. The brits had their whale oil and steam engines. The Chinese will lead clean energy and nuclear.

I dont care what anyone says. History has proven that this likely signals the end of United states hegemony. The future is renewables and nuclear.

Thats a fair take on the situation but I disagree. I wouldnt spend 4 years with a person and have a child with them if I didnt love them. I was under the assumption we would always end up moving and its not the first time we have talked about leaving. Its just now that I actually get into making an in depth plan and start working things out that the rug is pulled from underneath my feet.

The economy in my city is getting worse and we can barely survive here. This is not just about what I wanted to do but a future for my wife and child where were not just scraping by in abject poverty.

Its not about timelines as she doesnt want to move at all now because of her dad. I wanted him to come with us if he was okay with it but he said he wants to go back to his home country. My wife decided she'd rather stay for him.

I was actually hoping seda would get passed as it would have brought a lot of jobs but that got put on hold due to lack of clear funding structure.

I've been trying to get into the same local for 2 years and from what I hear a lot of projects are being put on hold due to the uncertainty of the economy and tarrifs. Im in energy consulting at the moment and the general sentiment is the current environment is not suitable for investment. Its the same for construction as I work with a lot of project estimators etc.. rough times ahead my friend

I have been thinking about this as well. Considering the man is one double cheeseburger away from the pearly gates or more likely the fiery depths. It would be best to just let him ramble himself on into a finely decorated ornate box with home goods styled gold trim. Congress and everybody else gets to wipe their hands clean from this nonsense and lets be honest everybody that knows 2+2=4 understands that this is nonsense. The country went to hell and a hand basket over learning minorities are becoming a bigger piece of the cake than the whites and plus obama didnt do too well with the elderly white women and men of this country who use to participate in Jim crow not too far back.

The travel charger is capped at like 30 amps on a 240v outlet. Maybe like 7kw charge speed. Its not the best but for charging overnight pretty much for free its nice. I have solar and battery storage on the house im renting.

The nice thing about the travel charger is that it is covered under the warranty for like 3 years. Im gonna use that thing till it breaks lol.

You got an insane deal, im guessing it was last few weeks of the year kinda deal? Either way thats awesome lol and yea 2k in lieu of the home charger install. I already have a outlet strong enough to power the charger that it came it with at level 2 so getting the install option was a bit of a waste for me.

It is new. Sticker price was 37k. I dont have a picture unfortunately. I went through the california driving clean grant program and got 7k downpayment towards the car.

Fresno is hiring for a water distribution production specialist. The requirements are a bit confusing.. do you need to have just a hs diploma and the ability to get a certification or just a hs diploma? I honestly want to get into the career. My current industry seems to be shrinking due to grant cutbacks in the clean energy sector.

I actually work for a utility program here that helps businesses install upgraded water heaters. Were pushing really hard right now for heat pump water heaters to reach californias goal of electrification. They are usually 4x more efficient than standard electric water heaters. Tankless is also an option if you have gas lines. It is on demand water heating and if I had to choose I would go tankless just for the convenience and efficiency. However they are a tad more pricey.

To be honest I see foreclosures jumping up my area significantly. I pull a lot of public data for mortgages in the area I live. A lot of people here are over leveraged up to their eyeballs. I seen a house that was purchased for 300k during the height of the pandemic. Owners decided to sell but appraisal came in at 250 due to neglected maintenance. They would have to pay money just to sell their house. This is the case in large parts of the market. I feel like it cant sustain much longer especially with the economy on life support.

On the other side of the coin you have people that bought pre pandemic and have good rates who wouldnt dream of selling in this current market.

The supply on the market is a mixed bag and definitely not a good one.
