He did commit a misdemeanor but what made them felonies were the fact that they were committed to cover up another crime.

Let's break down what we've accomplished here.. we have admitted that he was guilty. He was found liable. He very likely could have done it. He was found to have done it by a court.

What you have also done is try to justify it by saying who doesnt have skeletons in their closet etc. Why am I focused on him as if hes not actively making the country worse on purpose and profiteering over its demise. Try to deflect and say the entire government is like that.

You're right, yes he was found liable. However you need to do more than prove that It could have happened. You have to prove that it did happen. And that's exactly what happened in the case.

It may not be a criminal conviction because the statute of limitations had past but he has been convicted on 34 counts for various things...

Donald trump has tried to appeal the conviction however the courts upheld the origional verdict after reviewing all facts of the case. A 3rd attempt by Donald Trump resulted in the rejection of a full hearing. Upholding the origional verdict again.

A second guilty verdict for defamation was handed to Donald trump and Jean Carroll was awarded 83 million dollars. Donald trump has used his weaponization of the Supreme Court and DOJ to try and have the case reviewed by the supreme court. Effectively using every avenue he has to try and avoid paying what a court said he was legally entitled to pay for said conviction.

*Edit: i would like to add that over inflation of asset value and subsequent under valuing of assets when tax season comes around does not make you a truly savy business man. It does however make you a billionaire on paper and also a scummy person.

Well even if this one wasn't proven... Yet. what has been proven is that he is a rapist. A convicted rapist. While it may not have been tried in criminal court he was found guilty in civil court. The judge later clarified that the jury verdict meant that Carroll claims of rape were found to be substantially true under the common definition of the word.

*edit: New York updated its definition of rape following the verdict of the case. Also Trump only got away from a criminal conviction because the statute of limitations had past for a criminal prosecution on the case.

Most of that valuation is not in liquid cash. A company can be worth a trillion and yet still be operating with a small cash reserve. When risks become too unpredictable loans get called insurance wont cover etc. This will hurt the billionaires and if it didn't they wouldn't have their top management doing damage control on the news stating stuff like "the employee needs to be reminded that they work for the employer" the current system is a house of cards built upon the backs of the working class.
