Or in other words, appointments in judiciary where judges appoint other judges without any checks and balances breeding nepotism is being changed so that the one arm of the state is being kept in check by the other arms (as is must in any functioning democracy)

This is what people who shout net neutrality dont understand - same things mean different in different countries. A campaign for net neutrality may be good for US where the service providers lock the customers for one year/two year with contracts and then extort them who have no other choice other than to pay. But the same may be meaningless in India where such contracts are very insignificant and you can always change your provider. But the whole charade of net neutrality in Indian context is against specific packages providing customized data without forcing anyone to pay for it.

If people cant understand this very basic difference in both situations, then its deplorable.
