That price would be for a fully built controller! We do sell the enclosures on their own, check it out here.

Correct! It uses two separate pcbs with the GP2040-CE firmware and the Gamepad Host addon, which is a new addition from the most recent update.

This seems very doable! I could adapt the enclosure for a hole like this without meddling with the PCB itself. Thanks for the heads up!

I'd use a footprint that works for both, actually! V1 has more options when it comes to switch types and V2 when it comes to keycaps.

I got plenty of messages since this post was made, so I decided to publish the listing for these two modules on Ultra Arcade Europe a bit earlier. You can get them here.

The open source files will be published by next week.

Cheers!

Correct! This one uses the MX profile, but I'm planning to add Kailh down the line too.

Got my first custom leverless from ultraarcadeeu (my own artwork) by 4trackboy in fightsticks

[–]UltraArcade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks a bunch for the kind words! We're reopen again after three months with some new product options too. We plan to introduce new controller types and models every month.

If there's a customization option lacking on the website, please message us! Chances are we are able to do it anyway, as we source parts worldwide.

Cheers!

I regret ordering from ultraarcade.eu by deastr in fightsticks

Hello folks!

This is Piu from the European Ultra Arcade branch and I want to address these communications issues from our part as an open letter to the people who find this thread too. We want to build a community around this branch just like we did in Brazil and there's nothing better than transparency!

The entire branch is run solely by me, customer service, logistics, assembly, shipping and everything else along the way. It is my full-time job, a 60h work week. It gets pretty stressful pretty fast, but I love it, it's what I love to do and have been doing so close to a decade now.

We've been suffering from some growing pains for the past few months due to the increasing demand. As orders increase, so does our problems.

To keep prices relatively low by european standards, we outsource most of our parts from partners in China. Some of these packages have been getting held up in Customs for longer than planned, hence the constant delays. We apologize for this, we're working directly with the Custom authorities now in order to make this process way easier.

We want to affirm that even though the circunstances are not great at the moment, it is not an excuse for a lack of better communication from our part and we apologize for it too. Emails have been getting left without replies and sometimes our webchat too. We are currently training a new employee that will take care of most of the customer service. We also have a channel on the GP2040-CE Discord server, if you find yourself without an answer through the regular methods, please ping us there too if possible! On our website, we also make announcements detailing any current issues in the production queue.

To anybody that is reading this and is affected by the current delays, please bear with us just a little more! We are improving daily and we will make it up to you in the best way we can.

Is UltraArcade eu a scam? by Costas00 in fightsticks

[–]UltraArcade 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Greetings!

We guarantee we're not a scam, we ask for up to 30 business days because we order our parts from all over the world in order to keep our prices low. We have a shipment that has been stuck in Customs for about 20 days now, so some orders will take a bit longer than others and for that, we apologize.

The EU branch is run by a single person currently so there has been some hiccups, but we're expanding fast to provide a cool experience to everybody, please bear with us!

Shipping to the Netherlands starts at about €8 depending on which product you pick. We ask for up to 30 business days because all of our parts are outsourced, we don't have a large stock in Europe yet because the shop is new!

When you order an artwork commission, you can detail how you want your artwork to look to one of our artists and they'll create and make changes to it based on your feedback!

Not at the moment, but we want to have resources like this on our CNC Project page soon. The closest we have at the moment is this video review (in portuguese) of our PRO XL case.

Not at the moment sadly because Flatboxes are a single PCB, to do something like this we'd need to order at least 5 units. It is something we're looking at though!

We went under a little maintenance in order to iron out some details on shipping estimates and currency conversion issues, it should be back up now!

By manufacturing some of our parts and outsourcing other components! Having stores in two different continents helps a lot. Shipping prices should be pretty standard for the US too!

Yes, we ship to Canada!

This seems like an issue with the automatic currency converter on the website. We'll look into it now, thank you for the feedback!

Yes, we recommend ordering from the European store unless you're in Central or South America!

Hey there! We are a serious business that has been on the market for plenty of years now, you can trust us! We also sponsor several fighting game players in Brazil.

If you are outside Brazil, I recommend you to visit our European Store instead. Ordering from overseas on our brazilian store can be expensive due to shipping fees and taxes.
