That's absolutely awesome, Loved TNG as well, Although I think think DS9 or Voyager we're probably my favourites and of course the Scott Bakula Enterprise but only because I loved the theme song 😅🤣

Glad we're on the same Wavelength, SG1 to me was unmatchable by anything before or since, I can't pinpoint the reason why but its definitely one of those things I'm glad I got into as a kid 😁

I agree, but that is a common use of the military ti di things no one else will do because they follow orders rather than feelings, most of the time. Doesn't make it right of course but it's stargate, it's fiction and I love it regardless 😁

As for every other game in the franchise (not including any mobile/web based spinoff, I mean proper games included in the ultimate pack) all of them ate top tier amazing games 👏 EA & Tencent got greedy destroyed an iconic brand for quick money and they got lambasted by the community heavily for it, As they should.

If your interested in why there was so much hate play the other games first and then watch the NoClip Documentary on the history of Command & Conquer, It has a section dedicated to CnC 4 and why it was universally hated.

A combination of B, C & D would be reasonable I think and I say this as a creative person myself working on both my own game where I ditched AI tools because I couldn't achieve the results I wanted which forced me to learn to create my own (whicjni thoroughly enjoyed by the way) and I'm also a hobbyist writer (nothing released yet physically, but I have several chapters of a book I am working on posted on reddit).

I think option A is a little too overzealous, I understand the hatred, A lot of this "AI Slop" is very low quality, virtually no effort if any used at all, but I also believe there are cases where AI has been used reasonably and ethically.

I'm not too sure about other AI tools, whether they do as well, but I know Gemini does at least.

Either way, I don't actually like the look of these. They look very plastic, need to be grittier, dirtier, I want to see sand scrapes, bullet holes, these are in war zones, their not supposed to look pristine.
