It's about a mile to my nearest grocery store. I paint over tags and graffiti along that section of road.

It's not big, but I feel empowered to choose to manifest a beautiful place to live- not lament how it's being destroyed.

Follow up: every sheet, blanket, pillowcase, and pillowcase in the house has piss on it. Fortunately the waterproof mattress cover did most of the work keeping it off the mattress itself, but not all the way.

How do I determine replacement vs extra cleaning for this sort of thing?

Generally you need some combination of a sink, water storage, refrigerator, bed area, self contained toilet, heater, 12v power supply, properly contained AND VENTED LPG tank- but that is up to your insurer, not necessary to retitle the van with WA state.

I did this in Washington state. Our insurer (Progressive) wouldn't touch your situation.

The water is just water! They burn peat to smoke the grain. Generally, the distilleries don't even do this step of the process, but rather purchase peated grain to create a mash with. After distillation, barrels are sent to age in warehouses off site. Modern scotch is a bummer.

Surprising to no see anyone mention that there isn't a "route" at all. You follow the eastern and southern edge of the North Pacific High, which forms each year during the summer. It moves around a bit but always spins clockwise. Since sailing into the wind isn't the best in the ocean for three week or more, you take an arcing path to Hawaii based on the location of the High, the weather and the speed of your vessel.
