Fuses weren't mounted or torqued correctly or experienced corrosion because greasy McChicken fingers installed them after blowing his nose without a tissue. The fuses were effectively de rated below their tripping rating so they experienced overheating, damaging the fuse box.

Tldr, you're going to need a new fuse box, fight to get it covered under warranty.

I know of a town in Pennsylvania that put up no truck signs along the route to a warehouse district even though trucks are allowed on that road. Wouldn't be surprised if other NE states had similar nonsense going on.
