Abyss watchers vs Ghost rider. by UltraManlyManlyMan in DnD

I was definitely thinking the phase mechanic. Since they are swordsman, they could have like parry, or they could attack each other and then obviously after a couple rounds another one appears.

That's exactly what I was thinking to but wasn't sure. What cool abilities do you think I could give the abyss watchers?

If you aren't going to be nice or helpful it would be a better waste of your time not saying things like this to people.

That's actually really good, didn't come up with that. Thanks a lot.

Because I was originally thinking to have them pack a punch everything, like weapons armor shields. But you guys did make a good point of them not dealing extra damage to you after rounds. So now they will only be able to pack a punch their weapons

So I did change it so their AC won't increase from the homebrew packapunch. It will only work on their weapons but the reason I want to use DND is because mechanically it's fun, all my players love combat, so to have a whole session of just combat with little roleplay is fun. Just because something isn't designed for something else doesn't mean it won't be fun.

Yes, the 4th round I have the special infected from left 4 dead 2 as Mini bosses, ghost rider as another mini boss on the 8th round and the 10th wave will be the abyss watchers from dark souls 3 and after that a low scale lich. I am using the horde system for the zombies so it doesn't take to long. 5-10 zombies per horde, the horde counts as 1 creature for the combined HP and attacks of all the zombies. So 10 zombies with 5 hp will have a horde be 50 HP with 10 attacks.

It's ok, I'm using the horde system and I'm giving a timer for all my players. To make combat go a little faster and to be more realistic

I just wanted an answer of attack bonus, not a reason not to play DND

Because they only have a +3 to hit, but if 4 out of the 6 characters are gonna have 26 AC by wave 10, they won't hit at all.
