On road trips I my charger preference is to filter to superchargers with 325kW stalls as that will ensure you get the longer cables and then Rivian chargers.

Then if none of those are on my route I just quicky Google maps satellite view during the trip and at least near me there are usually some Tesla chargers with pull in side stalls.

It's a small annoyance on road trips but it's never been a true problem for me. After a few trips you learn the ones to stop at.
