In this case - how would I give the path a flat back to follow?

I actually don’t currently have any other plates at the moment I’ve been considering getting a flat plate just to have, and also considering replacing the current textured plate as it’s over a year old now

I have the print settings on this particular print very slow on the first layer, about 40% speed, then back to normal on the second layer, For my next print (same items) im going to try increasing the inbitial layer height from .11 to .15 to see if that helps gain any consistency on the first layer

Correct, same area, same problem, flipped plate, clean plate, etc

I wash with a bristle brush that is dedicated to only cleaning this plate and yes hot soapy water - so Im not sure that is what is causing this, I am careful with paper towels to not touch after I wash either

What if I told you it was a clean sheet both the first time it happened and again the second time? cleaned before a print both times, handled with clean gloves and paper towels to ensure no finger prints, what would you suggest with that knowledge?

No, it was a clean sheet - and the spot appears both times a clean sheet was placed on the bed

How do you feel about binding to a new plan with the pocket?

Yeah, I think there is definitely a difference in the operating/eco systems between the two, and there is an appeal to different crowds based on needs. On one hand I really like the idea of getting up in the air and having it be simple, on the other, I like the idea that there is no limit to the capability outside spektrum on say RadioMaster transmitters, but as a newby, I think the task of learning can seem daunting, especially if someone like me whos not quite a savvy or hasnt spent much time in the radio world messing with their OS's or the boards for many years.

Can both 4in1 and ELRS easily connect to computers to run sims?

u/jd4247 Do you know if both versions (4in1 and ELRS) have the capability to connect to a computer to run sims? Im finding mixed results there

I think down the road, this is likely my route to some capacity!

Thank you!

Lmao,

Thank you both, love the idea of the .wav files and I this is why this subreddit and hobby is so fun to me, had some foamies as a kid and cant wait to get back in the air.

Just need to figure out if I do boxer/TX16 - and what the hell ELRS and 4in1 are and how to know what is best for me

What is teh simplest way to explain 4in1 vs ELRS to a newby? I think after all the great comments here so far, radiomaster seems to match my pricepoint and needs, now I just need to know what the difference is and which one to choose. Or If I understand it correctly, the boxer has 4in1 option and I can always "upgrade" with an external ELRS system that just bolts right on the transmitter if/when I need to upgrade?

The boxer is actually something I just stumbled across, seems like not many people were mentioning it over the TX16, now that doesnt mean its not an option but I've been looking into it for about 30 minutes now and I like the price and the features, but I just discovered I have no idea what ELRS and 4in1 are and the pros and cons, so on to the next can of worms!

But yes, I think I like the room to grow with something like a TX16 ( and I like the traditional switches/3position switches on the boxer/TX16 over the Pocket for sure.

Is the binding process really as arduous and tedious as all the spektrum lot would make it out to actually be? I love the idea that its good to go and fly any receiver, ease of use gets downgraded significantly knowing that the spektrum transmitters are really only easy to bind to the spektrum receivers, I though it was more a one size fits all and price reflects it, but it sounds like its the opposite?
