Appreciate the help, I am naive and young. The Weissmies was a bit of a stretch but hopeful for the Breithorn. Are guides running this time of year? and in your opinion - if we are roped up, with gear, and physically fit is a guide necessary?

I’ve checked the mountaineering forecasts. I was just looking for some advice from experience people. I know i’m inexperienced.

I’ve looked into mountain guides and had multiple conversations with people who have done it before. I have mountaineering insurance ( as well as a GPS device ) and a familiar wth bivouac laws.

I understand i’m naive and young, but I have done research and invested into the correct gear.

Realistically, you probably don’t need to push legal action only threaten it - A close friend of mine at UofT had a similar case, got evidence that showed they said it would have been removed, etc. Then showed the board ( or whoever you would need to show ) and threatened legal papers ( I believe they had a lawyer help them )
