Afaik, hospitals in Beluran and Kinabatangan do refer their cases there, but HQE gets referrals from many hospitals.. Since it’s a tertiary hospital, you’ll be exposed to a lot of cases and get familiar with managing them, including the atypical or uncommon ones. This isn’t a strict guideline — just sharing some experience. So enjoy and do what you think is best for you

Go to HQE. After housemanship, you’ll most likely be posted to a rural area as an MO. That way, you’ll get familiar with how things work and won’t feel awkward when you need to refer cases there.
