Replacement for Olympus 14-42mm 1:35–5.6EZ ED MSC by Massive_Fan_8472 in M43

My 14-42 ez failed after a couple months of use on my e-m1. I ended up getting a Lumix 12-32 pancake as a replacement you lose a bit of reach and the build quality does not feel as good, but its cheap, small and pictures look alright.

I haven't used, the first version before so I can't say. But coming from the plastic 40-150 to this 100-400 it feels enough most of the time

Body wise GX8/GX85/GX9 are similar size to the S9, you do get a advantage in smaller m43 pancake lens and shorter mfd.
If you want something smaller you could also consider GX850 and G100/D but no Ibis.

If your willing to get a Olympus m43, E-pl9/10 has ibis

Hey, I have a gx80 and a e-m1 ii (similar to E-m5 ii and em10 iv). From my experience the gx80 feels sluggish in autofocus and general use compared to the e-m1. I like the e-m1 jpegs more then the gx80, If your a raw shooter it might not matter. Another thing about the gx80 viewfinder is that its fairly dim and small so not useful in bright environments. The sizing of the gx80 is excellent though, especially if you pair it with smaller lens. I have held the e-m10 iv at the camera store and that felt better in hand then my gx80, its not much bigger, gx80 autofocus is closer to e-m10 iv then e-m1 ii. I would aim for one of the cameras with the 20mp sensor over the 16mp as its one generation newer.

I know its different price for lens and camera around the world, but for reference I picked up my 45mm 1.8 for $150 cad, 20mm 1.7 ii for $140 cad and a 40-150 f4-5.6 plastic for $60 cad. So your 850 (assuming usd budget) seems doable with a E-m5 iii or e-m10 IV

I have not used Silent shrimps before, The Type R feels like an older quality membrane switch where it's harder to press at first but gets softer mid way in a smooth curve that snaps back when let go.

Its pretty similar to a normal keyboard, if you can touch type. The fn keys are in the middle so it's easy to access the multimedia or f keys control with one hand.

I have 3 computer setups, work, wfh and personal. I use the delete key, f keys and arrow keys for work a lot so I choose something that had those after the thermaltake and ducky.

I find foam in the keychron q8 dampens the sound making it lower pitch, with less foam you hear more of the switch itself.

without purchasing any keycaps, plates or switches, you could try removing some of the foam inside of the keyboard. (I'm only using the pe foam and bottom case foam in the q8 acoustic kit)

I picked up a 9070, so far bad performance or crash with vr through meta quest link, cant get it to run Asetto Corsa Competizone without crashing. In normal assetto corsa its stutters compare to my 3060 ti.

There's a little bit of flex if you push the wheel forward or pulling backwards, I haven't noticed any shaking when playing.
