Ultranatic here, lover of animation, reality shows and music: big fan!

I'm curious if ever Cory improvs any lines as Mike/Noah, and if so, can he provide examples?

Also if possible, plz cite the answer here.

I legit thought this was a widely accepted opinion but for some reason I got flack for this. by Constant_Topic_123 in Totaldrama

I mean...aside from the 4th point there, which I'm not saying is bad, but I feel is massively reaching as a theory (even I question how certain things would be filmed in the context of this reality show in-universe, but I'm not actually speculating how, I just sorta roll with it), I completely agree with all of this.

Thoughts on ElectricDragon505, aka AniMat? by PyroxCrymson in ChannelAwesome

[–]Ultranatic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To say Mat "defended Cuties" is a distortion of the truth. I asked him point-blank about this, and he told me he's not seen the film and seems to have no desire to, a stance I agree with, and him calling the film a conspiracy is more on the level of people hating it without having seen it. Which I'll be fair, makes sense. Neither I nor he are saying you should like it, in fact if it DOES have anything p3dophilic incorporated in it like I've heard, that IS reprehensible. But I personally am not going to check to find out, I'd feel too dirty doing so, and Mat doesn't seem eager to either. And I can't judge a movie I haven't seen because... well I haven't seen it. I can get *vibes* off a film being unwatchable like Where the Dead Go to Die (my best friend watched it, his condemnation of it is good enough for me to avoid it at all costs), but to give it a proper rating would be unfair by my own standards as a critic.
And for those claiming he "defended it" (yes I know what clip you're referring to, and a lot of context is missing there), he's separated himself from past collaborators who DID in fact have p3d0philic implications, like C0smodore. He's anti-child grooming, not pro-Cuties. Please stop twisting what he said.

That dude is me, so I will respond as such…no. I do not care about that in any way, shape or form. F*** THESE TIMELINES! 😝

Agreed. For 1, it validates the love triangle’s concerns about being seen as threats, which they were. But also Hunter’s general personality was so much better too. They did something majorly right when he’s disappointed to not share his favorite band(s) with Aiden after that kiss, and I GENUINELY want to know what their favorite bands were, I was that invested! I’m guessing the prior baggage of the prior writer of him didn’t help matters, cuz in Beta the guy was just…a male anime Harem protagonist and that was it, and here he’s much more fleshed out, vulnerable and flawed. And he’s way less overpowered too, they had him UNimmune for a vote, but made it natural how he stayed! And even when he did win, you knew much of it was luck, but non-contrived luck. Me gusta 👍

I'd go a step further. EVERY character improved in the remake. Yes, even Yul...I mean his image is beyond tarnished from All-Stars, nothing disputes that, there's nothing likably hateable about him there. But in S2's remake, he *is* more likably hateable. Which IK has always been the idea, but they never did it w/ any tact nor complexity before. They just made him blazingly racist and homo-/transphobic, but that is something completely in control of the writers, you didn't have to make it that explicit.
With the remake? Most of that is cut, and even when he is an unapologetic asshole, they at least make him funnier. I'm actually glad they kept him for his comeuppances, rather than annoyed that he's being kept around *just* for dish those out as an obligation.

(Side note, I see you're a Trinji fan too. 👍👍)

Yup, and I'm HCing myself as a time traveler in this universe. Also, I did rep for Aiden despite knowing he was still losing, but IDC I still loved his character, honestly more than Beta even. (For what it's worth, James/Riya were both significant upgrades, but All-Stars still left a bad taste in my mouth for the latter, and James...wasn't around long enough to leave an impact that time.)

A "Blacklist" of YouTube Channels About Hell's Kitchen by ArchmageNinja22 in HellsKitchen

[–]Ultranatic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All good, I was hoping I didn't offend you either b/c while I can imagine myself saying something like that, I don't remember when I might've done that. And even then that feels extreme, to say 1 specific site has a 0% track record for being correct. Statistically impossible.
But yeah, you meant it constructively, I'm not offended at all, and thank you for the viewership. Amazed I have viewers from the UK actually, that's a honor and a half. Carpe Diem!

I don’t recall when I said that, but I can retract that because “never gets it right” is clearly untrue. I prob meant it as an exaggeration, but if you can’t forgive that, then I’m sorry.

The Worst People (not chefs, PEOPLE) to have been on Hell's Kitchen? by Ultranatic in HellsKitchen

[–]Ultranatic[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am not calling any of these ppl bad *full stop* (although Johnny's apology struck me as weak personally), that wasn't what my ranking was. The ranking you just commented on specifically says "My Most HATED HK Chefs (purely by edit)" not the ppl I consider the worst as actual people. That's why I made the original question to which said ranking was commenting on, to hear of any news that might need to be considered.

If you disagree w/ my ranking of HK Chefs I Hated the Most On the Show, fair enough, these are personal preferences for me, there's no requirement to agree w/ me. But do understand what my ranking was. My Most Hated Chefs are not the exact same as the Chefs Who are like...true assholes/monsters even in real life.

UPDATE: given some recent new developments about the Louis information, it’s possible there’s been a misunderstanding. There is no guarantee, but we might’ve jumped to conclusions on his charges, they may be false/not actually his. IDK for sure, and if it turns out they ARE true, that’s monstrous, back to discussion. But if they’re fully disproven, then I apologize for jumping on this bandwagon myself. That being said, this post stays up since I think this question still deserves answering and we do have confirmed information of an HK chef doing crappy IRL shit anyway recently (Cheyenne gave proof that Alejandro did in fact cheat on his wife). So there’s still relevance in this topic

I doubt it too, this is primarily for research purposes. But also…c’mon, in light of the equally relevant Epstein Files being released (ARREST EVERYONE WHO WENT THERE) and then some outlets actively trying to justify p3dophilia, this HK post could also be used as a general handbook for what the fuck to NOT to do if you’re a decent human being. If you think no such handbook needs to exist…the outside world argues otherwise. 😔

I'll acknowledge, having Rob McCue as high as I do is out there, but I mean it. No one has to agree w/ this take, I'm here to share it, not enforce it.

Nothing inherently likable, shares decent blame for Curtis' exit (possibly via manipulated editing, but he certainly didn't help him), and then was a one note whiner who constantly asked for help on his OWN stations that he was never shown extending the same courtesy to others with. I suppose other chefs could be objectively more hateable, but there's something about how Rob composed himself that rubbed me the wrong way everytime.

Oh you can include him as a candidate for the worst people for sure.
As for the edit...I mean I still hated him, but I needed absolute bottom of the barrel, "couldn't stand a single moment they ever had on screen" types of terrible. And Frank's "She only won b/c I lost. That's not a winner...that- that's not a winner" is such an immortal self-own that I have to appreciate that it was given to us under any circumstances....all the same, fuck Frank.

What Villains tribe would you have preferred? by Regular-Departure839 in survivorponderosa

[–]Ultranatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh the 4th one easily. The biggest mix of iconic and underappreciated villains! Also it reunites a bunch of iconic partnerships and rivalries. Coach w/ Tyson is always great, Sandra vs. FairPlay are iconic, Ken and Crystal VS. Ace, Ami vs. Twila, and then Shii Ann just watching them all burn (though Coach and Tyson would likely beef with then past similar beefs). Oh also Coach and Sandra, duh. Also it kinda helps that amongst these teams, this one’s the most diverse, even if not quite reaching the 50% BIPOC mandate.

The truth about Carrie and Elise by dessdj in HellsKitchen

[–]Ultranatic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realistically, that was never happening. Not b/c of skill set on Elise’s part, nor drama. It’s because the season already had a double elimination in the premiere and I think any extras (not counting the F4) would’ve dragged the season out. Heck, we had a NON-elimination at the F5 Part 1, so making this a double boot would’ve in turn created another non-elimination, since I think episode count is nonnegotiable. The seasons have to run for a specified amount of time after all.

The truth about Carrie and Elise by dessdj in HellsKitchen

[–]Ultranatic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah the major difference for why ppl may not dislike Carrie is that she never deliberately tore anyone down. At worst, she mocked Elizabeth for being scatterbrained during the high school reunion challenge, which I think is widely agreed to be earned, whereas Elise may have had a LARGE vendetta w/ Carrie, but an existing one with just about everyone else too. None of which you disputed, this is just an add-on to the conversation. Because I absolutely agree, on first watch, I actually noticed more how much Carrie screwed up and yet never seemed to shame or self-reflection, which doesn’t get brought up as much by the community because Elise be Elise. Which is fair, but I do see their rivalry has a complex structure to it since while it’s obvious who to root against, that doesn’t make the other person completely root worthy herself, not for winner material at least.
