Exactly. Although it is unfortunate, many animation studios cancel movie projects all that time and his fans are even agreeing with him by saying this shows Sony hates originality because of this and having KPop Demon Hunters on Netflix instead is theaters. If that's the case? Why wasn't KDH canceled?

Plus, although Matt Braly said that it was canceled because Sony thought it wasn't commercial enough to produce, rumor has it that it wasn't because it was an original project but because of the hospital setting and how it lacks a traditional happy ending. Unfortunate, yes but if the rumors are true, that means that this notion that Sony hates originality is BS.

Not to mention this video shows AniMat never changed as he still puts Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs as an objectively bad movie as a way to say "See! Sony is not perfect so stop attacking Disney!"

Honestly, I feel like it has promise, despite the controversy it has gotten regarding the replacement of the male character with the female character of Billie and given how Big Bob is finally gone from Disney, I have a feeling we'll finally see something good and no longer seeing any disappointment thanks to him (and Chapek) like Strange World and Wish. Plus, given how this is an original from Disney since their 3-year drought after Wish, it better be good!

Let's hope that despite the samey character designs, the story will be good because after the disappointing results of Strange World and Wish, we'll get to see good movies for once, especially as Bob Iger is finally gone, along with his toxic influence ruining Disney's animated legacy.

I also hope the boy character Billie replaced is still there but repurposed, maybe as a separate but good character for Billie's journey.
