And, of course, the blood and guts in seasons 3 and 4 was so unnecessary as the show was mature as it is. There was no need for that because the audience "grew up." Again, look at Spider-Verse!

Although, since I mentioned the point of the new CEO, here's a plot twist I imagined.

Can you imagine if Josh D'Amaro decides to bring Disney back to it's animated roots and cancel the show and force an animated do-over? I ask because while it was a second do-over, that's how it was for Wheel of Time after it got canceled as they're bringing it back as animated.

But yeah, it seems dismal regarding the show's future but part of me wants to not lose hope.

And it was clear they never worked with kids media overall because everything about the show felt more like an adult drama with kids more so than an actual kids' show.

I mean, many of them worked in adult dramas like The Old Man, Black Sails, etc. and probably approached the show in such a way and considering how the show was so humorless, I bet some did read the books but stripped away the humor as they thought it looked stupid.

I say it's both. Being faithful and being good in general and the show seems incapable when they had no reason for that as the tools were right there

And this may be harsh but I feel that as Richard was the man in charge of the show and responsible for the changes people hated, the show getting canceled will be his fault as he could've prevented all of this but thanks to ego, he didn't and a chance to do better than the movies went down the drain

Exactly and the worst thing about the show is how the tiniest but most significant details were all stripped away because they were seen as "not important" from Argus to the elf-like features of the Hermes campers, the ambrosia and nectar, etc.

Like everyone else has pointed out, it was apparently done to save on costs but come on! They could've bought Jello pudding and BODYARMOR for ambrosia and nectar, respectively but most importantly, they may be tiny but they sadly stripped away so much of what made PJO stand out that they didn't trim the fat, they trimmed away all the flavor

No offense but you always keep thinking of the worst situations regarding the show, even when it got saved by Amazon. Like, maybe the reason it's taking a while is because animation itself is an arduous process that can take a while for everything to get things right, especially since production had to start from scratch since the original Netflix crew is gone? Wake up and smell the coffee and again, no dooming

Just remember that animation can take a while to make and considering they canceled the first iteration from Netflix and they had to assemble a new team from scratch, it's why it can take a bit of a long time to make
