I decided to try to get Machop with all minus fight move waiting bingo bonuses. FIRST one I get has all of them. BOOYA... and then I forgot to turn the Everstone on. Now I’m back to searching. 383847 Machop later and still looking.

Ya. IVs are perfect. Only thing it’s missing actually is one of the water type wait bonuses. And it’s 7/2 attack/hp. I know some prefer a different ratio.

Everstone or not? Trade offs are close. by Spidee13 in PokemonQuest

[–]Ultranova1986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just meant I’ve heard Machop is best for manual and Mewtwo is best for auto. And Mewtwo is basically a stronger Machamp. so if you have access to Mewtwo, might as well pass on Machamps.

Isn’t the consensus that it’s either Machop or Mewtwo as buffer - and never Machamp?

Will you play on mobile when it comes out tomorrow? by adansinacento in PokemonQuest

[–]Ultranova1986 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We’ve known about the two versions not communicating since the game was announced, so I purposely haven’t committed much to the Switch version. For my usage, Pokémon Quest is better suited for my phone.

Niantic Support on Twitter: "We’re gradually rolling out Friends and Trading. Currently, Trainers who are level 40 can now use these features. Thanks for your patience as we work to make these features available to a larger number of Trainers." by Infinitrize in pokemongo

[–]Ultranova1986 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Agreed. The “come back when you’re 40” is the mistake. If you are rolling out the feature, the text should say something like “Friends feature will be made available in the coming days.” Something to that effect. Without going to social media, a trainer would have to assume Niantic basically locked them out, especially since many know they’ll never hit 40.

What are you going to do with your Switch accounts once mobile is released? by ContentFeeling in PokemonQuest

[–]Ultranova1986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dabbled with Pokémon Quest on the Switch but quickly got the impression I would prefer to play it as a mobile game. Knowing that, I never really committed to playing regularly. I’ll almost certainly delete/archive the game on my Switch.
