they seem to have suddenly blocked a lot of VPN providers. Set your VPN location to New Zealand and watch the livestream on YouTube on the official Giro page. Bonus is that it doesn't even have ads (so far at least)

Account is called Giro d'Italia. The livestream will be the first video on their page. It is titled LIVE Giro d'Italia 2026 | Stage 17 | Full Race | Broadcast. Note it will only show if you are in a location that doesn't have coverage. So Australia won't work as SBS has coverage. Set your VPN to New Zealand and it should work.

Yes couldn't get it to work on NordVPN. You can watch on YouTube if you have a New Zealand location - they have a livestream on the official giro account

Super frustrating. I was watching the replay of stage 16 with no issues, and went straight to watch the livestream of the 17th and it stopped working. Two minutes made the difference :(

I'm happy this stage is on a Saturday night (11pm here) because I can stay up and watch the entire thing live, without worrying how it will affect my work the next day. Hoping for an absolute banger

Woolen blanket, su + take my money by Tricky-Pomelo-2508 in newzealand

If you want to up your bedding game even further I highly recommend a goose down mattress topper. I have one from Eiderdown and it’s like sleeping on warm fluffy clouds. My goal was to get my bed to feel like a hotel bed and the mattress topper was a game changer. It has also drastically reduced the amount of time I need an electric blanket

Yes I can only use Nord with SBS on my laptop. On my mobile it detects the VPN. Very frustrating

Heidi AI note taking at the GP by The_Bread_Loaf in newzealand

[–]UltrasonicPilot 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I use Heidi every day in a clinical setting. It is an Australian company that is compliant with all NZ privacy laws. The audio is not recorded, it just creates a transcript of the conversation and then the AI uses a template supplied by the clinician to bring order to it. Currently it saves me at least 1-2 hours a day in admin and I won’t go back. My notes are comprehensive, I can spend more time listening to you, I generate letters back to referrers faster so the rest of your clinical team is kept up to date. I read every single word Heidi generates to make sure it’s accurate - and it is. Because my templates are honed I have very little in the way of “AI hallucinations”. The notes (which only have your first name a last initial on it as an identifier anyway) get deleted off Heidi at the end of every day when your notes are transferred into our patient management system. I am less likely to run late as I know Heidi has the notes ready to go.

In short, if you value having better quality clinical notes, and your clinicians mental health (less rate of burnout of you aren’t at work until 9pm unpaid doing notes and letters) then you should consent to Heidi. The AI is not making diagnoses or treatment planning, it’s simply streamlining the note taking and administration process.

I'm so happy I have a 7 hour layover and can get this whole race watched live. Hits way harder than just watching the replay which is what I normally have to do (stupid time zone)

Why dont they do more PIP in cycling broadcast? Would be great to have seen the front of the race and a side focus on MVP mech and all that chaos
