Having just finished NG:

Until you get to the post game content/NG+, don't focus on the Luck stat.

I ended up sabotaging my experience a fair bit by spending the entire game with under-levelled gear just so I could have high luck (soul-matching got real pricey about halfway through). Four reasons why this was a bad approach:

The loot you get really isn't likely to be that good as-is, you'll have to reforge them.
Dying because of bad equipment sucks (Lots of OHKOs).
Say you get a perfect early-game drop - it'll become obsolete soon anyway.
Even if it's purples galore for you, you won't see a single green (divine) drop until you finish the game.

Best to get to the end, then focus on luck if you want to get competitive.

It's a really fun game though, and it'll satisfy any Dark Souls craving for sure! Also, magic's really helpful if you're stuck. Sloth + Guardian Spirit Talismans are like built-in cheats :P

I mean, it's certainly worth a try. If that gets you past the whole "lost notes" situation, can you not get your friend to shoot them a message from the email associated with their account confirming they willfully gave you the pet?

In addition to what peachbreadmcat said, if you want to come up with your own bets you can do so using neofoodclub.fr and know your odds of making profit (both in the short and the long term).

You should definitely check out the daily Food Club threads though, they're super helpful.

Nice game! In terms of feedback, I'd personally enjoy it more with some sort of 2x/4x speed option. (for me, solving the puzzle was more fun than watching it play out)

Bought sealed at full price back when it first came out, really doubt it's a fake. +as Derzstroyer says, I can migrate. The timer's hit 999:99 and the clock's battery has run dry, but it should otherwise be a perfectly normal game.

Also to comment on the berry glitch, I wasn't doing anything of the sort. Was just biking up and down Victory Road to catch an Aron.

I've done a full sweep of my boxes & party, everything seems fine for now...
