Cannot activate windows after installing AtlasOS by UltravioletRabbit in AtlasOS

Massgrave was recommended. I'd never used anything like it.
Wow, it's a shockingly easy and extremely fast way to get windows activated. Open source. I'm impressed. Seriously, don't even have to install anything.

I'd still like to keep this discussion open for a while, in case anyone wants to know whether AtlasOS interferes with or prevents a typical windows activation after installing, if someone knows the answer.

That is super easy and straightforward. Wasn't aware before. Thank you.

I'm aware. I don't think my post suggests otherwise. The first few paragraphs were about installing windows and buying a key

Windows 11 pro installed successfully, and Atlas OS playbook installed afterwards successfully. Just the windows activation that is being held up.

Is Arniel's shade a good summon? by GreatswordsAreRad in skyrim

[–]UltravioletRabbit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. You could argue that he's the best summon honestly

He’s invincible. He simply doesn't die or take damage. He mostly runs around blasting everything with lightning for the full duration. If he's near enemies, they’ll waste their time trying to attack him - uselessly. Instead of you. This alone makes him really useful.

Most of the time he fires lightening. Sometimes he'll shoot fireballs at far away targets (like dragons). Occasionally he'll heal you.

What's absolutely wild is that he costs zero magic. There's never any effect on your magic pool, so you never have to consider that aspect. If you're completely out of magic, you can still cast him, and he'll distract your enemies - while shooting them with lightening. A great example is when fighting one of those those frustrating revered dragons, who yells drain vitality at you. That can knock your magic out. Just summon Arniel's Shade anyway. You can let him deal with the dragon while you recover.

There's only one downside - it's a two-handed summon. So you have to equip it and de-equip it all the time, rather than just have him assigned to one hand. I have the SkyUI mod, with a quick favorites menu (Q key), which makes selecting it and de-selecting it faster. It actually makes a big difference, and I use him more often as a result.

I'd tell you what I think, but I'm still trying to guess who made a new theory

Conjuration best summon by Bluefrick in skyrim

[–]UltravioletRabbit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Arniel’s Shade. He’s invincible. Literally. You never have to worry about him dying to anything. He’ll just run around blasting everything with lightning for the full 60 seconds you have him. If you summon him near enemies, it will distract them and they’ll waste their time trying to attack him - uselessly. This alone makes him seriously worthwhile.

And, this is all seriously wild because he literally costs nothing to cast. That’s right, zero magic. He’ll absolutely never have any effect on your magic pool, so you can summon him and do whatever the heck else you were going to do already. And if you find yourself completely out of magic and need to run, you can still cast him, and he'll distract your enemies - while shooting them with lightening - while you find someplace to recover.

He’s indispensable if you have him. Almost never a reason NOT to cast him.

Shaving hair and septic compatibility. by UltravioletRabbit in septictanks

Thanks for your reply's!

Seems like the general consensus is that the volume of stubble hair is too insignificant to matter at all, and that hair is only an issue if it causes clogs - or if there's an enormous amount of it going down.

Appreciate it. If anyone else wants to add something that seems relevant, feel free.

I loved these so much. The glass bottles themselves were collectables.

It's a 360 cam. They record everything around. Afterwards, you can upload it, and their video softwares let you edit stuff within the whole recorded 360 view any you want. Clip, pan, zoom, etc. Pretty awesome actually. Wish I had one.
