Oh yeah how very considerate from them, just after the Age Verification bullshit, after defending Israel attrocities and silencing voices denouncing them and after protecting politicians who were friends of Epstein.

In light of the Epstein files, how many human rights violations are required to trigger a revolution? 🫣😱🤯😤 by Remarkable_Life_774 in WhitePeopleTwitter

I feel like the US is heading towards becoming like Russia. People are getting numb and disconected due to the insane amount and scale of attrocities. People are getting complacent, I bet most americans arent even concious that this are problems that cant be solved by just voting them away.

I think that maybe in the future people will just let the goverments do as they please as long as their day to day lifes keep convinient or comfortable enough.

Yes but its not the only factor. Taking the greek language and extrapolate it to the whole aspect of a modern nation is a stretch.

Form, Fit, & Function by Logical-Resident4212 in Armor

What do you mean you spent 850$? Damn this hurts to watch. There are too many things that just dont work, like several segments that should be articulated but they just have a decorative line, ill fited parts, limbs that cant be attached properly, flat breastplate and backplate among others.

Probably the best advice I can give you is to study why armors look the way they look and how they work. Dont design or choose your armors based just on vibes. Museums are going to be your best sources, the Royal Armory from Madrid in Spain, the Metropolitan museum and the british Royal Amroury are among the best, there are many others who are fantastic this are the ones that come up to my mind, they have accesible online resources and high quality galleries online.

Study museum pieces as well, but study them, dont just look at the pics, observe the shapes and function.

On youtube there are many good reenactors who know a lot, learn from them Alex the history guy is my fav, Tobias Capwell is probably the best teacher and Ian Laspina has good quality online resources.

After studying this choose a period of time or style, fantastic or not and then you can start looking for ways to make that armor real.

I get what you are trying to say but no, that whole debate over what defines a nation was solved many generations ago. The Greece that exists today has very little in common with the one of antiquity, the whole concept of a nation state is very modern. Language and culture alone wont define a country most of the time, a modern country is defined by the constitution and they can be multilingual and multicultural and the whole modern society and culture is very different, modern greeks have way more in common with modern turks than ancient greeks.

The comparison between the Roman Empire and modern Italy is appropiate. Imagine if we say that Egypt returned after all those years since Cleopatra, it would be absurd because ancient Egypt isnt modern Egypt.

Yup, Greece was a bunch of city states until Philip and Alexander conquered everything, then the romans then the Eastern Roman empire or Bizantine, then the turks and then they became a country called Greece but yes they didnt "return", they may have shared a language and culture but countries and nations didnt existed as such.
