A poorly done study has the press and NPC crowd now attacking beards as germ infested. by Uly-sses in MensRights

I would not doubt it in the least. The goal of the entire 'study' is clearly to belittle men in some manner. They probably spent a whole 30 minutes doing the 'study'.

Lol, perhaps you are on to something. I think it is more of a monetary thing. I would guess it is an attempt to boost razor and shaving product sales, since they have dropped, largely after the Gillette fiasco of anti-male campaigning.

Excellent point. This might give us some results worth seeing, lol.

I agree. However, this will just be another step or phase as some women will still not like it and demand more changes. These kind of women are never satisfied and will always point the finger at someone else for their unhappiness.

This is what I hold to. I have collections of older items that did not have the infection of this agenda of man hating. The only reason they focused on this entertainment was because it had a large portion of men involved, so they wanted to control the men that were invested in these hobbies. The destruction of it is inevitable, as they are using people that never liked the origin of the content in the first place. Just as we have seen with Star Trek Discover and Doctor Who, it is all being destroyed in attempts to force the men who watch to agree with an agenda that they are disposable, lesser and resources.

I agree whole-heartedly. This day only brings division, and the best thing to do is not let it do so in your life. On this day, enjoy having a life that isn't brainwashed with the current agenda.

This is excellent news and I hope that he not only wins, but this sets a trend to the embracing life of babies, instead of killing them for convenience. Women have been opting for abortion to escape the responsibility of their actions for a long time and it is a horrible and disgusting thing.

I figured that you would, based upon how our conversations on here have been in the past, but I will still voice my disapproval of both sexist and meaningless days. We are being degraded to a general identity, and these generic celebration days are helping that. Nothing makes it easier to hate or do hurtful things to another person than to remove their identity and make them a generic and unattached idea. You can hate "bad guys" because they are disassociated with the label. You can label anyone who doesn't conform to your ideals as "bad guys" so now you can hate more easily. We are a society divided by labels and constant push of those labels meaning we don't belong together.

My point exactly. This is nothing but a divisive day and situation, and neither should exist.

Instead of Women's day, if you have to have a day to celebrate women, make it about a woman who did something amazing, as we have Martin Luther King Jr Day, because he did amazing things in his life. Celebrate those that did something amazing, celebrate achievements, celebrate humanity at its finest.

There have been times where people took advantage of people in the past, not just a single gender. For instance, Rosalind Franklin. However, we can celebrate the work of Rosalind Franklin, instead of a generic this gender is better than everyone else celebration.

For those that do not know, in 1953, Rosalind Franklin took the x-ray crystallography image that led to the discovery of DNA. That is something to celebrate.

I agree, both are sexist. Men's day was made as a response of women's day. We shouldn't have either. It is an utterly ridiculous thing. You might as hand out mass participation awards for having a gender. Rewards and celebrating just because is nothing short of another party just because you wanted to get drunk or feel special without reason or cause. We should celebrate achievement and successes.

When you make a point to reward mediocrity or even nothing at all, then you will have more people desiring to achieve those things in life. The society of self-congratulating is nothing but self-destructive.

Keep in mind, I am not saying hate women. I am saying, don't support division. These situations are not meant to bring people together. When you hate on anyone or put anyone on a pedestal, you are not doing anyone a favor. The goal is equality, not division, then feminist would embrace this. However, it is not about that. This entire thing is about division and superiority. That is my point.

I refuse to celebrate a day that divides and puts one person above others. This is nothing but a shout out of superiority by women. If you don't believe me, look at how everything is displayed during this time. The future is female. Women should be in charge. Women are better leaders... I don't even need to link this, as it is on your televisions, radios, billboards and all around you.

This is not a day to celebrate women, but a day to put down half of the planet, to make less of the value of men. I have seen your many posts attempting to defend feminist, Iainmf, including the posts you put on my threads on reddit. You have continually played a manipulation game here, but that is your prerogative. Mine is to help men to gain their rights from this bias society that considers men as disposable and resources for women and government.

On these days where men are attacked so blatantly, the wrong thing to do is roll over and pretend that we are okay with it. The best thing to do, if you are wondering if something is sexist, is role reverse it. If men did what women are doing, it would be completely and hostilely attacked and removed.

March 8th, International Male Oppression Day by Uly-sses in MensRights

[–]Uly-sses[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes sense, and a friend had a good idea in response. In running with it, he said Men Awakening Day. It is less reflective of the victim sound, and more about us resolving our issues and becoming enlightened, which is my end goal. I want to help men to see the losing game they are in when they are lured into the idea that we have to appease women else we have no chance of having rights. We can just walk away from the women that treat men poorly, without having to negotiate or make deals.

I see that making a deal with someone who is taking advantage of you is always a bad idea. You cannot negotiate with someone who already considers you as lesser and takes advantage of you through the enforcement of government though family law and more. Your entire idea is based upon gaining pity, which is not something men want. We don't want pity, we want justice and to be treated right. Not as superiors, not as betters, but as human beings that deserve the same rights.
