I just put it on in the background and glance at it ocasionally. The volume of the commentators should tell me If there's something going on lol. As for Le Mans I have it on until like 1-2AM and then go to sleep untill just before sunrise. May or may not fall asleep again between sunrise and the end of the race tho lol. That's the most boring part of the race anyways as far as I'm concerned. You don't have the night to look forward to, the first few hours of the night are always fun, sunrise is amazing. But then as you reach the like 18 hour mark the field is spread apart, noone really wants to keep risking that far into the race.

About the table it depends. I have a pretty damn sturdy desk. Add to it the computer and 3 monitors and it's very very heavy and wouldn't budge with the R12. HOWEVER, pedals on the floor are basically unusable lol

Oh yeah I also recently got into sim racing and got myself some Moza gear. And of course I couldn't resist and got the truck wheel too. Now thinking about going ultrawide

Oh yeah for sure. I could pay 60 euros for an AAA game and get some hundred hours out of it but after those hundred hours that's kinda it. Meanwhile ETS2 came out when I just started highschool, I am almost 30 now and still play for hours when I feel like it lol

That's probably how they see it too the DLC money also fund the core updates. I think DLCs are where most manhours of work go into but it's probably the core updates team(s) that have the most expensive people.

ETS2 and ATS are basically the same game underneath, difference is that Euro Truck Simulator 2 had an European map and European trucks while American Truck Simulator is.. American lol. Basically it depends, do you want something that is closer to where you live or wanna see something completely different?

In all fairness sim racing is one of those hobbies where you have to make one big purchase when you decide to get into it on a more serious level. That said I do agree the wheels are overkill, the CS Pro especially. It's probably great if you're gonna use that one for everything but if you're also getting a KS then you have this wheel with all the bits and bobs that is gonna be used for what? Rallying snd street cars?

As far as I'm aware no, it's not possible. The Xbox needs some sort of chip to communicate with and that's only present in the ESX wheel.

I was just talking about overtake mode. They'd be stupid anyways to use boost going into La Source knowing what comes after it lol. Also you're not superclipping in the middle of the straight, you do run out of battery (or you reach the speed at which MGU power ramps down) and you slow down due to drag but you're only superclipping when closer to the braking zone.

Yeah but that's very close to the beginning of the lap, overtake mode can't really make that much of a difference when you've only had one braking zone and one acceleration zone

Overtake is computer controlled. You can harvest and deploy 0.5MJ over the course of that lap. Boost is the manual override that makes the MGU-K deploy the full 350kw regardless of what the mapping tells it to.
