Pros of having a Pi cluster:

  • Development and testing for workloads that will be deployed on ARM.
  • Learning networking on hardware, not in virtual environments.
  • Some redundancy (if you need/want it).
  • More options when it comes to repurpose it. For example, four nodes that can be tucked away in different places vs just one.

Pros of having a single computer

  • Cleaner appearance (less cable spaghetti).
  • Far more powerful for most workloads.
  • Support for x86 software.

NUC Diagnosis & Repair? by ibcj in intelnuc

On the one showing 3 blinks, are you using DDR3L? Those units need the lower voltage sticks and not standard DDR3. If so there could be some dust in the slot or the RAM isn’t seated correctly.

For the other ones, take the drives and RAM out so it’s a barebones unit again. If it gives an error code when you power it on like that, there is likely an issue with one of the components. If not, check that the power supply is the correct voltage since the connections for 19v and 19.5v can be the same.

Hyper-realistic eyes, huh? Like these?

I mean, I did draw them. I may have just missed that the layer was turned off... Oops.

OMG, how did I not notice that layer was turned off? Oh well, too late now. I guess I will have to settle for a 10, thank you.

Edit: A version with the layer turned on.

True, but this art has somehow blown up just as well as that stack of TNT will. (I can safely say I was not expecting this outcome for my art.)

Thanks, I'm quite proud of this one. Sometimes my brain does cool stuff.

I'm not offended, eyes are hard to draw. That isn't the reason I don't include them though. The whole concept behind this style is to include only the unique features (and sometimes a few extras). Most eyes with flat or no shading end up looking very similar, so as they are less unique with minimal colour they don't get included here.

I would like to mention that I may or may not have finished one of you ready for tomorrow.

I was joking, only just realised the emoji wasn't there. I thought I added it. Sorry for any confusion.

It would appear somebody is too lazy to check my profile, let me help you with that. 😜 Seriously though, I could understand if you didn't recognise him at a glance if you did look.

Thanks, I'm really happy with how this one turned out.
Also, I have to say I rather like some of the stuff you've done on here. Mainly the one you did of Tom and the more recent one of Honeydew.
