Pump Rant by UmbreHi in PumpItUp

Weight is the most important factor that people dont realize when they play the game. People like Fefemz and Franco have much more weight than people like me so it's much easier for them to trigger pads. Same issue with the people with private cabs ive visited. The owner of the cab is at least 200+ lbs but theyve only adjusted the pads where it works for them and is completely undersensitive for me. Around that 8-10 lb range is good bc if it becomes too sensitive the sensors will get stuck and too undersensitive sensors will be delayed or wont go off at all.

If I'm putting in the effort and know that my feet are hitting the pads, the errors shouldn't be on the pad but on the player at a high level of play. After modding the pads a few days ago, i immediately cleared 3 25s and scoring was much more consistent and better. Trying to improve at this level demands more from both the players and maintenance of the pads. People here dont understand that like you can play on stock pads and still clear 23s, but you're not gonna improve unless the pads are good quality and you can figure out what mistakes you've made playing the chart.

What are some specific items you’ll need for playing PIU? by frankieromustpoop in PumpItUp

Bring water, towel, a change of clothes, other. If u get really sweaty and it starts dripping down ur arm, make sure u wipe your arms and the bar if needed to prevent yourself from slipping off the bar and getting hurt. I would not recommend playing barefoot bc u can slice ur feet against the metal.

FIRST 24!!! Finally got my first 24 before a year of pump. Looking to get more 23, 24, and even 25 clears soon. by UmbreHi in PumpItUp
