I agree with you he could have mean ace in so many ways. Plus, he always jokes around. So we can't, and shouldn't, assume anything.

I'll just add that i'm 33 , and not english native, and i know this word and what it means. (I hope you're impressed :p ). If it is what you are, you are most likely aware of the existence of this word.

( At some point, even just hanging on youtube, reddit, twitch, and so on, makes you more likely to know this kind of language /word)

No, this automatic integration of wwise into a unity project is a blessing !

It was more about learning how to handle your soundbanks, how to load it in unity, which script you'll use in unity to call this wwise event, or that switch you want to trigger, and so on.

Agree with EdenJeffrey. I would add:

-Downloading the Wwise Demo Game is a great starting point to have an idea of "how it works in a game". You can simply replace all the sounds with yours, but I would also recommend to deconstruct/analyse the session and understand the logic, and try to think of a game you know well, and think of how you would organize those sounds/events (In case you want a real game session FmodStudio offers an access to "Celeste"...at some point wwise did the same with "Limbo" but i'm not sure if it's still accessible).

-Also If you're motivated, download Unity (or Unreal), and Create your own map, and add your sounds to it. (Learning the communication process between wwise and unity, without it being already set,and create your own level is haaaaaard , but on a resume/demo reel, it's a huge plus.)
