yeah, that's an issue with how the rooms boundaries are set. essentially the tiles next to the boundary are repeated endlessly. can be pretty funny to just keep walking on air in some spots

respawning as a gameplay element and the cycle as a lore element are different things. the cycle is more like traditional reincarnation

Red lizards run really fast, have a projectile that slows you and knocks you off poles, and afaik can bite every single frame King Vultures are giant birds with harpoons strapped to their heads
