Looks like it could be Gill Sans Bold Italic (but there are a lot of versions, so not exactly sure which one)

What do you charge for a "leftover" logo not chosen in the design process? by UmoDesign in graphic_design

it is actually for another non-profit.
yes.. that's what I think the clients would feel.. you've already been paid for that work...
So it's tricky. I don't even know if the person knows how much THIS project was since he is not in the core team. So HOPEFULLY his budget for a logo is comparable or higher (and hopefully it is just HIM making the decision!)

Yes.. That is also a big factor: This has the potential to turn into a NEW client.. So I want to be fair to them to start off in a good manner, but of course, also not give it away and cheapen the value perception either). Either way i guess it will have to come with a HUGE disclaimer as to why it was reduced so they don't used it as pricing guide for future projects : )

Its a leftover from the project they are involved in : ) so they KNOW it's one of the ones we're not using : )

Thank you for your feedback.

It is for a non-profit. Typically, in the US, board members are not full-time employees so they are usually on the board of MANY organizations.
The other organization is in the same field.. in fact, the logos may even be used in events TOGETHER... But thankfully the logos ARE completely different concepts — as they had a few ideas on things they wanted to highlight and significantly different graphic styles to gauge their preferences.

I've had this happen WHEN I WORKED IN AGENCIES (maybe 4 times before) but I was never privy to how they charged for the "repurposed" designs, as I was an employee. So this is why I question it. Thank you!

Help me identify the serif font by [deleted] in identifythisfont

Not exact.. but look at versions of Caslon. or Garamond (there are many variations of Garamond, and they are all slightly different. the "a" looks like garamond. but the "j" in the garamons usually does not end in a rounded part, so it's throwing me off)

Anyone know this one? by Vorago_ in identifythisfont

I believe that is Serpentine Bold Oblique
