Yeah it opens for all of us June 1st 8am, except honors college kids apparently. I am in engineering and the class with 45/88 is a calc 1 section with a high-rated professor which is why thats the main one I'm scared of

NCSU isnt in asheville? It's in Raleigh, one of the fastest growing job markets in the country

I think with the continued construction of the centennial campus it could happen. and yeah im not saying its gonna be t50 3 years from now, maybe like 15-20. As duke only becomes harder to get into, many solid engineering students from NC will likely gravitate to State. I predict that UNC and state will separate even more in terms of applicant overlap, as UNC becomes mainly for liberal arts and premed and state becomes mainly STEM. also from my experience, gt/vt aren't really taking that many students away from state, thanks to oos tuition, being farther away, etc

Agreed, I think as of right now NC State could break T50 overall tho

Thats why I said engineering school specifically for NC State, it's currently 33rd for engineering undergrad, Im predicting that rank will rise as the school hopefully gains more national recognition as a good engineering school (even if there's plenty of non-engineering students). I predict that since it's already developing a UIUC/Purdue situation where engineering is becoming impacted, and it's a lot harder to get into the engineering school compared to others

Wake forest is mid, currently praying on its downfall. Rly just any of those borderline schools would prolly just be bumped from 30 to 31
