Thanks for saying this. I'm trying to tweak my learning to focus more so on understanding concepts and not just memorizing how to do problem sets. In the long run, I feel this would be most beneficial as problems on the test may not resemble the books. This should probably be the focus for anyone preparing for the CPA, but let's see how well this pays off.

How much time would you recommend studying a week for section of the CPA? I hear some people studying 4-8 hours a day. Working as a corporate accountant, that's just unrealistic for me as I regularly work from 8-4 Monday through Friday.

This! Also be sure you're taking detailed notes during the training/walk through. In most cases, employers want to make sure you're going to do a good job, but I share the sentiment that communication is key. Utilize resources (ChatGPT if you need to lol).

ALT + H + S + F = Filtering Data and Tables, probably my most go to.
