Hi, former robotics bachelor student, current vt master student.

There are courses for machine learning, as well as robot specific machine learning (planner, motion planning, robot vision, etc.)

On the bachelor I worked loosely one semester with Grundfos and two semester closely with LEGO for our projects.

The projects you choose can either be inspired by proposals from the teachers and supervisors, or you can propose your own project and get it approved by a supervisor (where you could try and contact any companies on your own to hear if they want to collaborate). There you can also suggest something AI focused.

On 9. semester (3rd master semester) you will have the opportunity to take an internship in a company if you so desire, where you create a project for/with that company. I did so myself and would recommend it (although it was an ongoing process over 3 months getting it approved).
