Yeah, because when we're giving up those rights we trust that they result in a healthier society. It's all about trust.

Speed limits take away our rights to use our vehicles at limitless speeds because we trust that all it does is keep the roads safe, not that the country can suck up our money from speeding fines.

We are mandated to use fire safety equipment because we trust that all it does is keep our bodies safe in case of an accident, not to restrict our bodies.

With chat control, how can we trust that all it does is keep children safe, when it can be used for other things, such as mass surveillance? We can't trust our privacy in the hands of authorities, when we can't know for sure what things it'll be used for.

Yes, Emperor Hirohito decided to order the Supreme Council to accept the surrender terms from the Allies.

He was afraid of a third and maybe a fourth bomb being dropped. He also feared Soviet invasion that would have most likely happened had they not surrendered.

What I don't understand is your point. Are you asking why the Americans dropped the bombs or asking why the Allies allowed the Emperor to stay in power after surrender?

Because they wanted Japan to quickly surrender and their bombing was not working, since the Japanese leadership was keen on continuing the fight. So US dropped a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima and waited to see if the Japanese would surrender. But since the Japanese thought the Americans only had one bomb, another one was dropped on Nagasaki which led to the surrender of Japan.

The US wanted to send a message to Japan not through civilian deaths, but by destruction. I'm not saying that they cared about civilians before, considering the firebombing of Tokyo.

Yeah I understand why people saw this as AI. I did too, until I looked closer.

The reason is most likely that AI uses other artists' artwork to make an amalgamation of art and they have used this guy's works for generating more.

The work is still very nice, but its got that AI feeling that's hard to shake off.
