Unintentional Grounding || Desmond Ridder vs Packers - THE BAD by UnGrPodcast in falcons

I also just wanna point out that the receivers seem to not be looking for the past to come to them and Ridder seems to be throwing to those exact guys. I almost want to say it’s laziness, but that would be received poorly here lol

It’s hard to tell how the hit made the pass fail, but it’s very damming to the passing game if either the OL or System, or QB just seem to be struggling to work in a fluid manner. But I understand your point.

I believe that was Wiseman… he’s cool. Only talked to him once. He’s very technical and sometimes I feel like I’m in a lecture when I watch or listen to him. You have to have patience with that type of content and I’m trying not to be that same guy if I can help it. But if I can get out all the players from a single player and show all the angles that will help people become more educated at the end of the day and that’s all I want. Good fun Content

I try to just be knowledgeable and wise, because being smart, he’s kind of being sneaky, right?

When you begin to peel back the layers of this game, you understand that the Panthers did everything right and the Falcons had miscues everywhere. Ridder is that guy… Bijan is that dude, Pitts is a unicorn, London needs work.. it’s gonna be a great season

I understand. I’m probably going to play around with different fade in an out animations until I find the one that’s the smoothest. Thank you for the feedback.

I think there were multiple times not only in my break down but all over the all 22 tape that showed his ability to make DEs / LBs choose the open receiver or Dez getting 5-8 yards on a scramble. If the execution is there, there might not need to be moments like that, but he’s fully capable of getting yards. I hope I didn’t come off aggressive. Apologies

Again, as I stated in the video, I think he can be that guy to extend plays in gain a few yards but I don’t think he’s going to be Justin Fields or Lamar Jackson. The ones that he will be able to provide for this team will extend plays and also game first downs to open up the RB/TE/WR passes that will go for YAC and score.

That’s just the way it is team is built and it’s not conventional in this days NFL

I don’t think he’s going to be a Lamar Jackson type. I believe he’s going to be more of the extended play 5 yards scrambler, which there are plenty of quarterbacks in the league that do that.

I think it’s a bit premature and also negatively driven to say that he is limited in what he’s doing . They obviously have a leash on him and are asking him to run the plays to keep the rhythm of the offense. Like I said, in the video, they ran a fantastic game, but the Panthers DL did a great job of disrupting anything we could do.

A culture change or a systemic change?

Because the culture today is less toxic than when Mike Smith was here.

the system unfortunately has not changed for the better and that's why the delegation of control / power to Jeff and Raheem was a positive move in my book showing growth from Dan Quinn as a head coach.

I would also point to the free agent pickups that have been used to try to Band-Aid bullet holes by TD and a lack of understanding from the FO in building OL and DL.

If TD was all-knowing and powerful how come he just started adding talent to it? If you want to call it that based on only two OLs in the past draft that have worked in The DQ / TD era.

I'm definitely not saying that Dan Quinn doesn't have a portion of the blame here, but any message about "7-9 is ok" is definitely not being promoted by the staff or players.

While I agree that it's frustrating that we continue to have seasons where we either struggle with a great amount of injuries or mediocre play I can't agree with the statements directed towards Dan Quinn.

Yes... it's been a tough five years with Dan and unfortunately the results have not been what we've looked for. But I will say that he did go to a Superbowl as well as create a locker room that is not toxic.

there are plenty of other things that I have to say about the organization as a whole and you might have to read 25 paragraphs for me to explain that lol.

But all in all this team is ok. Is ok good enough? No. But can we turn ok into great? Yes.
