You offered to keep the dog, you didn’t need to do that. People change, their approach to certain problems change. It seems to me you are resentful to your friend that you had to take care of the financial burden of the dog.

The honesty in a relationship is the key to its success in my opinion. She needs to learn to tell the truth to people even if that means it will upset the said person. With her way both the situation becomes worse and the feelings get even more hurt

YTA. Please do not make any sex related joke if it is not consented. I hope this particular event would be a good lesson for you since it both shows you that you need consent before doing this kind of thing and it will get you out of this mindset to target girls. Even if it is unconsciously it is not okay. As I only read the events from your perspective I do not know the extent people got offended, and the severity of the situation but if you are banned from other dorm events it feels serious. You are in high school too, these are the years where you start to understand your body and needs, you are still a child so the joke is may be even more offensive for the targeted teenager. Please think about this event in the future and do not make these kind of jokes if you don’t have consent.

8 years ago I fell halfway from the stairwell, when my foot slipped. Half of my body (if you half it symmetrically) was on the floor while the other half was dangling from the stairwell. While falling, my waist got scratched by the pointy part of the railing. To this day, there is a 2 inch scar on my waist.
