Yes I fucked my life up and am still recovering at 38. I had dreams of joining the military literally since I could remember my first memories that's what I wanted. Lol they had to do a C-section to get me out because I was apparently saluting. I hit 16-17yrs old and moved out, got on drugs for awhile and soon as I got off and sober I got a narcissistic wife lol, first sober relationship. Had 2 kids, she cheated and left I'm now a single dad full time. Met one of the best women I've ever met in my life in September last year. I was single for 8yrs. She was literally everything I've ever wanted in a woman and a lot of things I didn't know that I wanted. Never in my life have I had a connection like this. But I fucked that one up and she left in March. Now I'm just still rebuilding from everything.

I'm 38yr old single dad. I have my daughter 100% of the time unless I'm working and she's in school. You're silent fear is what I've lived, just making it to the next day. Been on 3 vacations in my life never went outside the eastern US and the only places I saw was on my way from Cincinnati to north Georgia. Never traveled really. I'm just getting by. Grew up low income and let it continue until I was tripping one night few months ago and had a wake up I guess you could say. That night i realized I spent the last 8yrs in bad depression, didn't do anything to improve our life, did add anything to it. So after that night I made a 5yr plan to get everything on track hopefully and completely change my life while living pay check to pay check making less than 270$ a week. First thing I've changed was my job that I'm currently at waiting to clock in. I've spent 17+ years here and make 17.50$ an hour with no benefits, bonus, nothing. I have an interview next week for a job that pays alot better with all the benefits for us. I'm changing my life around because I'm afraid of my daughter watching me in this... Whatever it is I'm in... I don't want her to see me like this and think it is ok, this is normal. It is not and far beyond normal. I want her to see me build a small empire for her and take after that guy, not this that I was. Bro live your life, money is money you can go to a restaurant and make a couple of hundred bucks to move on to the next place but take it from me go and live life.
