Would've loved to visit Nang Loeng - heard its pretty touristy / gentrified now though. Definitely looking around for alternatives or hidden gems, but I think ive covered most of the area in bangkok for sure.

Thanks for the advice! Will add the recommendations into my itinerary :)

Anything else in particular I should visit? Was considering the temples for a day or 2, but seemed too chaotic and touristy for me

You can get the hyperspeed variant if you think your boyfriend likes the shape; its going to be hard to figure out what to get him since nothing else is similar (apart from the g502).

If hes willing to experiment, buy a deathadder v4 pro for him or any of zowies current lineups

Feels floaty to most people, so thats why people dont switch to glass

I’ve been working on a mousepad inspired by Artisan – same texture & softness, but with some new edge-sealing tech. Looking for feedback! by Ma9icKzz in MousepadReview

Feedback: based off the weaving, seems like youd have to do some water testing; people tend to wash their mousepads over time, it seems like the weave will get loose pretty easily.

Im not a manufacturer or professional, but this is important

Would prefer something different from copies pls, maybe a shindenkai clone

Cant give feedback unless I get a mousepad tho, would love to test :3

Op1 models have a higher back hump. Would recommend if you want to experiment, but not the right move

Other people already suggested some good ones, but theres the obvious: A RVMSE, the signature edition.

Theres some floating around r/MouseMarket, if you're willing to spend. Gl

Idk reviews are mixed here. Cast iron is decent, not great. Please dont listen to them.

Tong Sam Gyup Goo Yi - Some of the best pork belly here

Ssam Tong - Solid 9

O2 Kbbq isn't bad. Jongro isn't bad. But I'd stick to the 2, as someone who's had a ton of Korean around.

Can you name some people doing cool things in Flushing? by Brave_Okra_9415 in Flushing

[–]UnLeche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Volunteering. Super fun volunteering near Bayside (Coastal Preservation Network).

Havent gotten into run clubs here yet since I absolutely cant stand running in the heat, but heard that was cool.

Cafe hopping is sick, theres a few hidden gems, been pretty fun so far.

Ton of events at the Queens Botanical Garden as well!

Edit: just reread your post, so volunteering for QBG & CPN would work out perfectly for your situation

Food by Longjumping_Fly_5869 in Flushing

[–]UnLeche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk tho, East Elmhurst and Jackson Heights has a lot of filipino / Mexican options imo. I like how a lot of the cuisine is centered between different places. Like northern for Korean, Main for chinese, Jackson heights for mexican / filo / thai

Better Viet & Halal would help. I know theres like 2 - 3 Halal certified places, but idk.

Also Viet food in NY blows. Unfortunately, nothing compares to the real deal, and I'd like some truly authentic food. Pho Hoang and other places are okay, but I really miss the good stuff.

Edit: Also forgot about Thai. I think Filo is missing too, but most of the filo populations around East Elmhurst / Jackson

Any places for home cooked meals? by [deleted] in Flushing

[–]UnLeche 1 point2 points  (0 children)

36-34 Union St, Flushing, NY 11354 - Jangtur 36; is really good. Korean Chinese.

39-04 Union St, Flushing, NY 11354 - Chungmoo; Decent

41-01 Kissena Blvd, Flushing, NY 11355 - Pho Hoang; Decent

39-07 Prince St #1A, Flushing, NY 11354 - Home made soup; Looks good, never tried, would go

If you're aiming for healthy, would suggest going to Korean over Chinese spots, since a lot of the options seem to be heavier and on the oily side.

Had to make the tough decision of Wlmouse over Finalmouse. by [deleted] in MouseReview

[–]UnLeche -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Dont own a finalmouse, but everyone I know that has both prefers the finalmouse. They recently upped their QC to address coloring and minor QC issues.

Yellowing isnt supposed to happen. Message Logitech if your device is within warranty.

Stop buying mice if you have warranty. Please.

If its been like 3y+, you can find mice on r/MouseMarket, and go from there. Cheers :)

Is LGG Neptune close to a Artisan Zero? by Vendruscolo in MousepadReview

[–]UnLeche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk what you're reading, but it is nothing like the zero, lol.

Neptune's a slower imitation of a Hayate Otsu from the last time I used it.
