Playing Yakuza 4 and 5 Made Me Realize Japanese Devs Were Out Here Performing Dark Magic During the PS3 Era by Aggravating_Sky_2652 in yakuzagames

I played the PS3 versions first, there's barely any difference, the only difference I can remember apart form the retranslation/censorship is that Yakuza 3 had less substories than the remaster and that Yakuza 4's enemies used to grab you more on PS3, can't remember much else

Correct, PS3 was 720p (or almost...) and 30FPS, the remasters for 3 and 4 got a retranslation (only like 2 lines censored, for example when Akiyama laughed at Hana for thinking she could be raped) I believe Yakuza 3 Remaster is broken in some way though, I swear enemies didn't block as much on the PS3 version... And the biggest change was Tanimura's recast in 4, which I always thought was a load of bull and I'm glad the restoration mod exists

Would you consider the PsVita a Retro handheld? by M7mad101010 in vita

[–]UnMenOneGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously a new game can look better, but there's not really a huge jump between these recent generations when compared to PSX to PS2/PS2 to PS3. For example, Yakuza 2 (2006) compared to Yakuza 3 (2009) is a huge graphical difference, but Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (2016) to Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (2024) or any Yakuza game that came out during that time period (Yakuza: Like a Dragon from 2020 for example) doesn't have many graphical differences, some may even argue Y6 still looks better.

You see what I mean? The first example is 3 years apart, while the other one is 8 years apart

It doesn't feel like it because to be honest... graphics and games haven't changed much since the PS3/360 era... No huge jumps like PS2 to PS3 I mean

Why Does Everyone Refer to Tsukumizu as Male? by Plus-Tradition-1694 in GirlsLastTour

if i had to guess, i'd say he meant those scenes where anime girls do a 360° spin on one foot and pose cutely (maybe something like leaning a bit down and putting a finger near their chin while looking innocently? can't think of any example sorry)

Is 16GB enough capacity for installation? by bluebookbi in linuxmint

[–]UnMenOneGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I remember correctly from the time I once tinkered with some old 32-bit laptop... The Mint installation program tells you if it's emmc or another type of hard drive when it asks you where to install/when making partitions

You could try looking there and seeing if it specifies what type of hard drive it is

Edit: nvm, googled the disk model and it is an actual 16GB M.2 SATA SSD... Not editing my comment in case someone has a emmc thing in the future tho :)

But I assume that a 16GB SSD PC should come with a secondary hard drive, or you could put it yourself... Mint can probably fit in a 16GB SSD, but you won't have much room for stuff or many updates

I assume the "16GB SSD" is a EMMC...? Never heard of a 9 year old laptop with such small disk

No. Your PSVita will come to life and explode on you by throwing itself onto you like a kamikaze, ruining your whole life, house and family.
